Charice Pempengco on Oprah

Charice Pempengco is a 15 year old Filipina singer from the Philippines who can sing the songs from heavy hitters like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. Other vocal influences include Celine Dion, Beyonce, and Regine Velasquez. Her voice is unbelievable for a person her age. She has made it big internationally by performing on Oprah's show a few days ago. (Keep a close eye on the audience reactions in all the videos below.)

Watch Charice Pempengco on Oprah:

We wonder if she will appear on American Idol or get an album released in the US. Someone give this girl a record contract!!!

Charice got put on the map when a Korean Star King video surfaced on YouTube in November 2007. (Look at the expressions of the people in the audience.)

Charice Pempengco also appeared on Ellen late last year.
