VH1 has a new show called “Scream Queens”. The show gathers 10 unknown actresses who will vie for an unprecedented prize — a break-out role in “Saw VI” from Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures. With the “Saw” franchise nearing 700 million dollars in worldwide revenue, this is a chance at stardom on an infinite stage.

The contestants will compete in a series of exacting challenges designed to prove they have the smarts, talent and strength to succeed. From working with bugs, gore and stunts to acting across from A-list talent, the girls will be put through an intense horror-acting boot camp.

Over the course of the series’ eight one-hour episodes, those skilled and sexy enough to command the screen survive. Those who don’t will “get the axe” until only one strong, seductive and stellar actress remains, earning the break-out role in “Saw VI” and the title of Scream Queen.

Korean American Kylah originally studied to become a lawyer. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Corporate Communication and a J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. She practiced law in both Dallas and New York when she decided to change careers and pursue acting. She’s also worked as a model, appearing in numerous magazine and print ads.

Lina So

Born in Canton, China, and by way of Las Vegas, NV, Lina now calls Los Angeles her home. Chinese American Lina grew up print modeling and by the age of 14 she was traveling the world. She also toured with Lexus as a product specialist for two years before moving to Los Angeles to finish business school and pursue her dream of acting. She has gotten several bit parts in hit TV shows like CSI, Alias, and Numb3rs and recently had a scene as “Hip Salon Receptionist” opposite Adam Sandler in ‘You Don’t Mess With The Zohan’.
