Top Chef Masters Roy Yamaguchi

In episode 6 of Top Chef Masters this week, chefs Roy Yamaguchi (Roy’s Restaurants), Art Smith (Table Fifty-Two), Michael Cimarusti (Providence) and Jonathan Waxman (Barbuto) compete against each other in Quickfire and Elimination Challenges. In the Elimination challenge, the chefs are faced with a mystery box from which they must concoct their meals.

Unfortunately, Roy Yamaguchi didn’t make it to the finals for Top Chef Masters. We really wanted to see him make it. Hope Top Chef Master Anita Lo can pull off a win in the next Top Chef Masters finals.

Energy Secretary Steven Chu on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart

Earlie this week, Energy Secretary Steven Chu made an appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. The House debates the future of energy policy, and Jon shows the kids how Cap’n Trade becomes a horribly compromised law. Energy Secretary Steven Chu makes Jon an honorary member of the Nerds of America Society. Steven Chu believes the cap-and-trade bill is a great opportunity for America to lead a new industrial revolution. BTW – you can be a Steven Chu fan on facebook here.

If you want to see a more serious interview of Energy Secretary Steven Chu, watch the Charlie Rose interview.
