Reminiscence

Interesting short film with collaboration with Museum of Chinese in America, APEX (a mentoring program for inner-city Asian American youth), Asian American Film Lab (the people who put on the 72 hour shoot out),writer/director Xianoqian Chen. The short is entitled "Reminiscence." Here's a synopsis:

A young girl celebrates her grandmother's birthday as they reminisce about the grandfather who has recently passed away. We travel back in memory to 1965 - the grandparents, as a young couple, overcome what looks to be the end of their burgeoning relationship when the grandfather returns to China to tend to his sick mother.

BTW - If you are in NYC, be sure to drop by the first Asian American Comic Con at Museum of Chinese in America.
