Bollywood Hero flash mob in Times Square

Dozens of Bollywood dancers suddenly began to dance in the middle of Times Square to support Bollywood Hero, a 3 part mini-series on IFC. The song they danced to was “Dhoom Taana” from the “Om Shanti Om” (Remember that from So You Think You Can Dance last year). Bollywood Hero stars Chris Kattan, Neha Dhupia, Pooja Kumar and the show’s choreographer Longinus Fernandes (Slumdog Millionaire) were in attendance. The mini-series premieres August 6th, 7th and 8th at 10pm on IFC.

Hope Bollywood Hero isn’t another Love Guru in the making.

Laura Ling and Euna Lee return home

After 140 days in North Korea, Laura Ling and Euna Lee finally returned back to the US today. Behind the scenes negotiations made it all possible with Bill Clinton sealing the deal. Laura Ling spoke at the press conference, but Euna Lee didn’t. A bunch of people also releasing statements about Laura Ling and Euna Lee today from President Obama to former Vice President/Current TV owner Al Gore to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Let’s also not forget all the work that Lisa Ling did with appearances on the Today Show, Nightline, Larry King, and Anderson Cooper along with vigils from coast to coast.

Sweet!! Check out this deleted scene from White on Rice. Tim (James Kyson Lee) & Ramona (Lynn Chen) sing a duet, as Hajime “Jimmy”(Hiroshi Watanabe) plans his next move for his rival. (Doesn’t James Kyson Lee look like the Quaker Oats guy?) Also Lynn Chen can sing.

Dr. Ken Jeong da Pimp on WWE

On Monday, Jeremy Piven and Dr. Ken Jeong (The Hangover) made an appearance on WWE’s Monday Night Raw to promote the upcoming movie The Goods : Live Hard Sell Hard. Jeremy Piven was the main host, while Dr. Ken was the hypeman and sidekick for the night. Ken Jeong was decked out as a pimp in a full-length leopard skin coat and brown felt hat. Check out the highlights below.

Although night started with fun and games, it didn’t end well for Dr. Ken. He took a hit on the head and needed to see a doctor himself. Here’s a tweet from Dr. Ken yesterday. “it wasn’t cool what cena did to me. not cool at all.”

If you were wondering why Ken Jeong was on the show, it’s probably cuz he was filming “Furry Venegeance” nearby.
