C.S. Lee in Dexter

C.S. Lee returns to Dexter for Season 4 as Vincent Masuka. Always quick with an inappropriate remark, Masuka is the wisecracking forensic expert who assists Dexter in crime scene investigations. It’s not your stereotypical role for Asian Americans. Catch it tonite on Showtime. You can also get Dexter Seasons 1-3 on DVD here.

David Choi music tour in the West Coast and Korea

If you didn’t see David Choi at ISA LA 2009, you may have a chance to see him your city. In the US, he’s hitting University of Houston and UC Davis as part of the “B HERE Live Performance,” spreading awareness of Hepatitis B in the Asian American community. His official West Coast Tour hits San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and even into Canada with Vancouver. David Choi fans, it’s important to support him on the West Coast tour. Without a good turnout, he’ll have a hard time getting appearances on the East Coast. For tour details, go here.

Our guess is that “Won’t Even Start” will be part of his one hour set on tour.

1040 – Christianity in Asia

The 1040 documentary film about Christianity in Asia is an interesting collabo with Pastor Jaeson Ma, executive producer Carl Choi (the guy behind Far East Movement and Jin), and Arowana Films (the people behind K-town hotties and Kim Jong Il videos). Here’s a synopsis:

“1040″ focuses on the rapid changes in Asia and the significant shift of religious landscape in the area known as the “10/40 Window”- the regions between 10 degrees and 40 degrees north latitude on the eastern hemisphere. Pastor Jaeson Ma takes us on an exciting journey through the Asian countries in the Window and shows us the dramatic changes that are happening on the ground. Through incisive observations, intimate interviews with prominent religious leaders, and powerful, never-before-heard stories, “1040″ dynamically explores a part of our globe that is experiencing vast socioeconomic expansion and profound shift in identity- it is an area that is now nothing less than the frontier of world Christianity.
