Steamy Kitchen on Today Show

Jaden Hair from Steamy Kitchen just released her new cookbook with 101 Asian recipes. She starting the media blitz with the book with an appearance on the Today Show. She shows a few recipes including burgers with an Asian Flair (add those Korean BBQ flavors to your burger), fried rice with kimchi. and pork and mango pot stickers. The series gives you a peek at what it’s like to promote an indie film on the film festival circuit. This time at the 2009 San Diego Asian Film Festival. At least the makeup part. If you can’t find that Sailor Moon outfit, you can still apply the anime makeup principles and become another anime character like Chobits, Death Note, Naruto, even Final Fantasy characters like Tifa.

Secret Asian Man Pumpkin Carving Contest

It’s not too late to enter the Secret Asian Man Pumpkin Carving Contest. You have until midnight of Halloween night to submit your entry. Get a pumpkin and carve any Secret Asian Man art of your choice into it. The only rules are you need to use a pumpkin and execute some sort of Secret Asian Man theme with it.
