Peter Pan Complex by dumbfoundead

dumbfoundead dropped a video for his track Peter Pan Complex (Lily Allen Remix). It uses footage from various YouTube videos including GrindTime, Freestyle Battle Knock Out Fight, Rapper O’s, She Don’t Care, footage of young dumb, and much more. Love this autobiographical song. Tip from dumbfoundead to all the kids out there “Don’t do what you don’t like doing. Follow your dreams.”

Vote CPAF for Chase Community Giving

Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF)

Every 15 seconds a woman is beaten in the US.

Ever two minutes someone in the US is raped or sexually assaulted.

One in three women will be abused in her lifetime.

It happens too often… the silence is deafening.

Sandra Oh, John Cho, Aaron Yoo, Lisa Ling, Archie Kao, C.S. Lee, Joan Chen, Justin Chon, Far East Movement, Kaba Modern and over 100 other members of the creative community will appear in a series of videos supporting the Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF). It is truly a Cinderella story as still hundreds more contributed their time, experience and resources to produce the videos and help raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual assault.

A Los Angeles based non-profit, CPAF provides a multi-lingual 24-hour call center, emergency shelter, transitional housing program, counseling services and community outreach programs that focuses on the needs of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

CPAF finished in the top 100 out of a half million eligible groups in the first round of the Chase Community Giving contest on Facebook. As a result, they received $25,000 and a chance to compete for a grand prize of $1 million or one of five runner-up awards of $100,000 in the final round of voting from January 15-22. The winners will be announced on January 23. Please join them in the effort to spread the word and get out the vote to help CPAF win so they may continue to better serve the community. You can go here to vote. CPAF has quickly risen up the ranks on the leaderboard from #56 Sunday morning to #15 Monday morning. They need more help.

Google Nexus One x Mike Relm

Here’s a sick video from DJ Mike Relm. It features the Nexus One that Google gave him. Since Mike Relm can’t dance, he called upon Jonathan “Bionic” Bayani from Supreme Soul. (Remember them from America’s Best Dance Crew Season 2?) It’s an interesting collabo. You need to watch the video to understand. Very cool concept. Mike Relm produced the track “Wait (The Nexus)” featuring Chantal Claret and directed the video. This guy is majorly talented.
