The Rock’s favorite YouTube videos

The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) was featured on YouTube last week sharing some of his favorite videos on YouTube including Evolution of Dance, Charlie bit my finger – again !, surprise your man, and Le Haka des All Blacks, and David After Dentist.

He also shares some wrestling flashbacks from the 80’s. The first match is between two teams Tony Atlas, Rocky Johnson (his dad), and Andre the Giant and the Wild Samoans (his uncles) in a six-man tag team match. The second match Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka Vs. Muraco in a cage match (Jimmy Snuka does his famous leap from the top of the cage.) Classic WWF back in the 80’s.

The Hype 5-0 on America’s Best Dance Crew

The Hype 5-0 on America's Best Dance Crew

The Hype 5-0 was part of the list of dance crews that will be on America’s Best Dance Crew Season 5. They’ve tried to get on the show several times before. Looks like they made it this time. Here’s a little about the crew:

Driven to prove that Hawaii has a thriving hip-hop community, Hype 5-0 is out to show there is more to Hawaii than swaying grass skirts and coconut bras. With limited funds for travel, Hype 5-0 has honed their skills by spending countless hours on the Internet studying crews from the mainland. Now after conquering the island dance scene with imported moves this hard-hitting crew is ready to export themselves to the mainland and take America’s Best Dance Crew by storm. They have immense Hawaiian pride and incorporate native dance moves in all of their routines.

Look for the Hype on this Thursday, January 28, at 10p.m. ET/PT and 11p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

Andrew Garcia audition on American Idol

Last week, we caught a glimpse on Andrew Garcia on the American Idol credits. This wee we got to see his Los Angeles audition on American Idol. We get a little bit on his background including being a dad and avoiding gangs growing up. (BTW – his kid is really cute.) He got high accolades from the judges for his rendition of Sunday Morning by Maroon 5.

Also of note all of Andrew Garcia’s videos on YouTube are gone on his account. Looks like he may be prepping something big on American Idol. However, you can still see him as part of a few collabos including The Gift Of Music and LA State of Mind

Good Luck to Andrew Garcia and John Park on the next round of American Idol.
