CHOPS music at 2010 People’s Choice Awards

Music producer CHOPS provided a lot of the background music during the 2010 People’s Choice Awards. Somebody compiled his background tracks into a short video. See it below.

You may not know who CHOPS is, but you’ve probably heard his beats with out knowing it. He’s worked with hip hop artists like E-40 and Paul Wall. You can also hear his beats on MTV, movies, and other shows. Last year, CHOPS released some FREE mixtapes. Also if you watched Ping Pong Playa, he was on the soundtrack with “I Like Cereal” and “Chinese School.”

Not only does he produce music, but he’s also performed in the past with the Asian American group “Mountain Brothers”. They were early pioneers in breaking the color barriers in hip hop. Check CHOPS and his crew back in the day in Galaxies: The Next Level.

We’d love to see CHOPS do a collabo soon. Asian American artists get a him. He’s open to it. See this twitter message he sent to us here. If you need a hit, get some CHOPS.
