Been So Long by Seriously

Lyrics to Been So Long by Seriously

Don’t mean to take this faster than it has to go

Just can’t get past the fact that maybe you should know

There’s something that I feel, it’s out of my control

I’m going crazy, oh it overtakes me

Don’t mean to call this love if you don’t like the name

You say you’ve had enough, and that it’s all in vain

I’ll give you more than you can surely take

Your heart is frozen

I’m gonna burn you up

Girl I know it’s been so long

You shouldn’t be alone

I know this might be wrong

But let’s just play along

You don’t know if we could last the night

I will give you something that feels right

You don’t have to worry about tonight

I will give it all to you tonight

I know it’s been so long

You shouldn’t be alone

I know this might be wrong

But let’s just play along

More about Krystle Cruz

Krystle Cruz was born and raised in San Diego, California. She began singing at the ripe age of 3 and started performing when she was 9. Such venues include Copley Symphony Hall, Belmont Park, and Sea World to name a few. Aside from singing, she also loves to dance. She started dancing at age 13 and joined the San Marcos High School dance team as a freshman. In the next year, she became a captain of her team, becoming the only sophomore to become a leader at her age. She remained on her school’s dance team through her high school career. Furthermore, Krystle also began training under Erik Saradpon when she was 15 and continued to dance with an all-female hip hop team called Hi-Fidelity, under the umbrella of EK Entertainment & Talent Company (EKetc). During the years she remained on this dance company, she was the featured vocalist in EKetc’s annual talent show “Full Out” which is usually held at the California Center for the Arts Escondido. Krystle recently pursued a career as an artist abroad on an all-expense paid trip to Japan with Avex Entertainment, in which she had undergone intensive artist development, training in all areas such as vocals, hip hop, jazz, and gym which are all not unusual from her norm. Through this, she got discovered by a prominent producer of the company named John Seikoon Lee. Krystle seized every moment of this once in a lifetime opportunity and although things did not work out due to conflict of interest, she still continues to strive to become an artist of some sort and to always stay true to herself. Come what may, she will continue to work for what she wants until her dream is fulfilled. Thanks to past experiences, Krystle has the drive and strength to tackle and overcome anything that is thrown at her. Singing is her passion and her first love, beyond the glitz, glamour, and fame.

How Marie Digby writes a song

Marie Digby shares her creative process about writing a song. She starts with some guitar chords she likes and off she goes. It’s almost like she’s freestyling off the what she’s feeling by combining her thoughts with the sounds coming off the guitar. It’s an interesting peek in to her song writing process.
