Brushing your teeth with Jack by Wong Fu Productions

Brushing your teeth with Jack

You know that line in Ke$ha’s Tik Tok song, “Before I leave, brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack”. Well, the guys at Wong Fu Productions decide to put that line to the test with some of their friends. It sounds like it would be nasty. Watch what happens as Wong Fu and friends brush their teeth with Jack Daniels. Guest teeth brushers include MysteryGuitarMan & David Choi (see their version of Tik Tok), TimothyDeLaGhetto (aka Traphik), Cathy Nguyen (aka lilcdawg), Paul Dateh and Ken Belcher, and more. For the kicker, everyone gargles with Jack after their finish brushing. Don’t try this at home!!! (somehow this doesn’t fall in to the good hygiene category.

Special Message from Wong Fu Productions:

Baby by Legaci x Cathy Nguyen x Traphik

Check out this all-star Asian American collabo for Justin Bieber’s Baby with Legaci x Cathy Nguyen x Traphik. Legaci tells you how the collabo came about:

We’d been talking with Cathy about doing a collab, and we decided “Baby” would be a fun song to do. We planned to record while we were in LA. We set up a date, location and everything.

Meanwhile, we had also been in contact with Timothy DeLaGhetto aka Traphik, about doing a song together. The day we were goin down to LA he hit us up and suggested “Baby” by Justin Bieber. (Crazy coincidence huh?) So we asked if he wanted to join our collab with Cathy and agreed. He wrote down the lyrics an hour before, met with us in Hollywood, and we finished the video. The rest is history!

You can download this rendition FREE here. If you like Baby, you may want to check out Lil Crazed and Tommy C’s version too. Also check out the related posts section below for other great collabos.

Faces of America

Faces of America

A few months ago we wrote that Faces of America would be on PBS with Yo-Yo Ma and Kristi Yamaguchi. If you missed it, don’t worry, we got you covered. Here’s the whole series online.

Episode 1: Our American Stories

Our American Stories explores the dynamic and shifting relationship America had with her new immigrants in the 20th century. Learn about the struggles of the ancestors of Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi and a single encounter that changed cellist Yo-Yo Ma’s life forever

Episode 2: Becoming American

Becoming American explores the many journeys to becoming American that defined the “Century of Immigration” (1820s – 1924) and transformed the United States from a sleepy agrarian country into a booming industrial power. See how Kristi Yamaguchi’s grandfather faced exclusionary laws and racially-defined barriers to citizenship for decades.

Episode 3: Making America

Making America tells the story of the peopling of the New World, of how land came to define the settling and identity of America, and of how the guests’ ancestors were part of this history. Learn about Yo-Yo Ma’s family genealogy in China.

Episode 4: Know Thyself

Know Thyself takes up the search for the guests’ ancestries where the historical record leaves off and links their distinctive family histories to the broader history of “the family of man.” See how Yo-Yo Ma and Eva Longoria are related.
