Here’s a short documentary profile of singer/songwriter Alfa. Philippine-born Alfa is a young singer, songwriter and musician from New Jersey. A classically-trained pianist and violinist, Alfa taught herself guitar 10 years ago and began writing songs not long after. She has performed solo and with her band all over North America in cities like Boston, Philly, L.A., Seattle, St. Louis, Minneapolis and Toronto. Meet some of her band in the video. (The video was directed and produced by the Alfa’s drummer Dave Dodd.) Her music has been described as “hydraulics for the heart” and her first album, “Second Skin” is now available on and Amazon.
