About a week ago, we told you about a panel ASIAN AMERICANS IN MEDIA, where Rik Cordero (music video director), Jin (rapper), Miss Info (Hot 97 radio and TV personality), Dave Liang of the Shanghai Restoration Project (electronic producer), and !llmind (hip hop producer) sat on the same panel. Here’s the trailer to Ed Lin’s book “Snakes Can’t Run.” It is the sequel to Lin’s 2007 novel “This Is a Bust.”

Here’s a synopsis for Snake Can’t Run by Ed Lin:

“It’s a hot summer in New York’s Chinatown in 1976 and Robert Chow, the Chinese-American detective son of an illegal immigrant, takes on a new breed of ruthless human smugglers — snakeheads — when two bodies of smuggled Chinese are found dead under the Brooklyn Bridge overpass. But as Robert comes closer to finding some answers, he discovers a dark secret in his own family’s past.”

Jay Park x Dumbfoundead x Clara song coming soon

Both dumbfoundead and Clara announced on their YouTube accounts that there is a collabo brewing. Look for a free song release April 23, 2010 from Jay Park x Dumbfoundead x Clara. Like we said before, we think Jay Park is looking to “crossover” to the US market. Can’t wait to see how the collabo goes down. When you have dumbfoundead on the track, you don’t know what to expect, but it will be sick.
