Olivia Munn builds Habitat for Humanity house

Olivia Munn builds Habitat for Humanity house

As Olivia Munn’s popularity climbs though magazine covers, film and TV appearances, and books, she still stay grounded by giving back to the community. She auctioned off a chance for fans to join her as she built a Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity house during a very special private build event on Thursday, April 15, 2010 in the Los Angeles area. The winners put their hardhats on, picked up their hammers and spent the day building a house with their favorite geek goddess, Olivia Munn. Together, they put in their “sweat equity” alongside a Habitat for Humanity partner homeowner family as they built a safe and decent, energy efficient home with a deserving family in need. Check out some of the footage.

Where U At Remix by Tommy C and J. Reyez

Lyrics to

(Verse 1)
You know that Seoul is in my blood, and I been there and back
All across world and I’m trying to find out where you at
I don’t know if it’s destiny, if we were even meant to be
But I know that I gotta find you, time is always testing me
I don’t even know your name but I can see it in your eyes
And You’re on my mind like all the time but I gotta stay on my grind
And I been losing focus, afraid but feeling right
And I gotta hurry, it’s getting blurry, you’re fading out of sight
And time is flying by with a blink of an eye
And you just gotta let me know, what you’re feeling inside
And it’s about what you define and you’re shining within
Tell me the time and when, girl I’ll find you again

(Chorus)
I just want to know if u down,
Where u at?
Where u at?
Where u at?

He dont even treat you right,
For just one night,
Why dont you come home with me?
Girl

I just want to know if u down,
Where u at?
Where u at?
Where u at?

Why are u still holding on?
The love is all gone,
Wont you come home with me?
Where u at girl?

(Verse 2)
I seen you on the side, I can tell you’re feeling my grind
I’ll be there when you fall and I give you my all and you know I’m the realest in line
We can chill all day baby, I’m just trying to keep it true ma
Relax or hit up the night and go learn some of that Kama Sutra
I can make you suffocated, so great and I instigate it
These kats are fakin’, in fact they hate it that me and you can be infatuated
I can slow it down or we can take it fast
They hate the fact I wanna be with you, where my haters at?
Finish up and hit rewind, baby girl you’re looking fine
I got you shook’d inside, it’s all good we can take our time
If I make it, we can live it up like life’s a vacation
Gotta find you again, give me a place and location

(Chorus)

(Bridge)
Let me break this down,
Let me tell u one time,
I was brought onto this earth for just,
One simple reason,
You were meant for me,
So Ill be there for you.

(Chorus)

Quentin Lee Interview with channelAPA.com

Last month, channelAPA.com had a chance to sit down and chop it up with “The People I’ve Slept With” director Quentin Lee. We talk about how the film came about, the deleted scenes, and audience reactions to the film. The film is still on the film festival circuit, but it recently got picked up for a TV deal. In promoting the film, The People I’ve Slept With used a variety of tools including music videos (I Like Boys and Crazy F*cked Up Bitch) and behind the scenes footage of what it’s like to promote your own film through Film Hustler.

Quentin Lee is already working on upcoming projects including Model Minority and Optimum Disaster. Both are serial killer based films. He’s into dark/ horror material. To see an example, check out his graphic novel Campus Ghost Story, which he describes as Pulp Fiction meets Sixth Sense.

If you haven’t seen the film, be sure to look for it at you local Asian American film festival. Next up it will be at the 2010 Los Angeles Asian American Pacific Film Festival.

FM SATELLITES - Episode 19

Far East Movement continues their concert tour with Lady Gaga in Japan. They finished up 2 concerts in Kobe and took the bullet train to Tokyo for the last 2 Monster Ball Japan shows. (If you never ridden a bullet train, It goes almost 250mph. When are we gonna get this in the US?) In Tokyo, FM hits the Universal Japan office for tv interviews, then one of the biggest radio stations J-Wave 81.3 for their first Japanese radio interview. Later that night, Far East Movement links up with Nigo and Matt of Bathing Ape for some Mr Bathing Ape Ties and dinner at Nigo’s restaurant “Curry Up”. The tour ends at Yokohama Arena for the last concerts. They even stay after the concert for meet and greet in Japan.

Three fingers up for always taking care of the fans and and other three for light space helmets.
