Lyrics to No Use Pretending by Feats in Inches

Love, you’re calling me, “Love”
You say that you want me,
but you want nothing at all.
Thought you’d understand,
of where we are.
Did you run a thousand miles,
just to give it all up?
You’re just looking to feel,
all that you’ve felt before.
Tell me, is all this real?
Let it all sink in. (yeah)
(Whoa)

Place, your eyes on me.
They say that you want it all
but your scared what that means.
You think you’ve won,
but you’re falling slowly.
There’s no use pretending
that you agree.
You’re on the blind side,
you choose not to see.
(You choose not to see)
(Whoa)

Love, you’re calling me, “Love”.
You say that you want me,
but you want nothing at all.
(Whoa)
You choose not to see.
(Oh, you choose not to see. X3)
Love, you’re calling me, “Love”
Oh love, you’re calling me, “Love”

Clara Chung’s White House gig

On May 17, 2010 Clara Chung had the privilege to perform at a White House sanctioned event for the Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month (Dispelling the Model Minority Myth). With the help of Kal Penn She had the opportunity to perform in front of a panel of distinguished guests. Here’s a quote from Clara Chung, “I’m still so amazed that I had this opportunity. I’m even more blown away that Kal Penn (the lead actor from Harold and Kumar) was the one who suggested me for this event! I wouldn’t have landed this gig if it weren’t for him.” Watch the recap of her experience below. It’s amazing what she’s accomplished in a short amount of time.

Currently, Clara is recording her debut album. The release date is slated for the end of the
2010 summer, so make sure to be on the lookout for that! CAn’t wait, here’s some of her recent work: Clouds by Dumbfoundead x Jay Park x Clara and Fool’s Gold.

Silly Bandz with JuJu Chang

Silly Bandz with JuJu Chang
The hottest craze for kids right now is Silly Bandz, silicone bracelet bands in various fun shapes. Once taken off the wrist, they bounce back into shape. The average price for a pack of 24 is $5. JuJu Chang shows you why it’s so popular for kids and why some schools are banning them. Not sure how long this craze will last, but Pokemon cards and Beanie Babies lasted awhile. these bands have been hot in Asia for a while before making it to the US. Check out some silly bandz here.

Lyrics to Try by Melissa Polinar

I.
There’s something about you
the way you move, the way you look at me
There’s something about the way you see things
its like a change of scenery
Everything about you, I just want more of

but don’t get any closer
if this will last a little longer
There’s a chance I’ll find myself saying (there’s)

Chorus:
nothing, nothing i can do
to keep my heart away from you
i can’t help it
i can’t tell you how much i try

…to get you off my mind
to help me move on and just live my life
I can’t help it
I can’t tell you how much I try

(’cause) whenever you’re near
its love that i fear

II.
i’ve been in this shell
and I can’t tell if I’m living at all
I’ve been doing well on my own
but maybe its just me who I’m deceiving
Everything about me, leads right to you

oh, I want to get closer
but let me doubt a little longer
’till i turn it over and give in (’cause)

Bridge:
fear of falling so helplessly
fear of losing, losing control
