Lyrics to Airplanes Remix by Tommy C

(Hook)
Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I can really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now.
Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I can really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now.

(Verse 1)
Life was never perfect growing up.
Giving everything we had was not enough.
When everything around was unstable.
We always had food on the table.

He was like Superman nothing ever shook him up.
I was his Robin always there by his side.
And anytime Id need something,
Hed look at me and say no, no problem.

Then it comes crashing,
Dont even know what happened,
Praying it was just a dream,

I take a look around me,
Hoping God would find me,
Save him from this misery,

We stood and watch him take his last breath,
We never felt so helpless,
Momma itll be alright,
Daddys gon sleep tonight.

(Hook)
Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I can really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now.
Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I can really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now.

(Verse 2)
No matter how hard I hold it back,
These damn emotions keeps on fighting back,
Sometimes I question why Im alive,
I hold my head up and look towards the sky.

He was like Superman always there to lift me up.
He gave me comfort and strength, told me stand up
Any anytime hed need something,
He never had to ask twice when he need, need, need something.

Now Im on a mission,
Through any storm and distance,
To rise and fill his legacy.

Im picking up the piece,
Burnin off the weakness,
Fulfilling my destiny.

No matter how hard it gets,
The lessons I wont forget,
With music close to my chest,
Wont stop till I pass the rest.

Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I can really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now.
Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I can really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now.

Olivia Munn – Daily Show Correspondent

Olivia Munn - Daily Show Correspondent

With the BP oil spill, the Asian fishing community is seriously affected, particularly the Vietnamese fisherman. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart assigned a new senior Asian correspondent Olivia Munn to cover the plight of Vietnamese fisherman in Louisiana. She shows off her Vietnamese-speaking skills and makes Jason Jones, Wyatt Cenac, Aasif Mandvi and (an apparently pregnant-again) Samantha Bee feel The Big Un-Easy. Watch this hilarious clip from The Spilling Fields.

Her appearance seems to be a tryout for The Daily Show. She’s already shooting Attack of the Show and Perfect Couples. If things go well, you could see more Olivia on the show.
