Suchin Pak interviews Kim Jong Il (Part 2)

People of Perspectives continues the definitive interview with the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il on American soil. SuChin Pak’s exclusive 3 part interview explores the very foreign perspectives of this infamous individual. The interview moves from the park in Part 1 to the bathroom. Kim Jong Il conducts the interview on the pot. And he’s giving it all he’s got.

My Devotion by Kero One

Lyrics to My Devotion by Kero One

Chorus:
I knew that you couldn’t see my devotions, “oh oh oh ohhh”
I knew that you wouldn’t see my emotions, “oh ohhhh”
I knew that you couldn’t see my devotions, “oh oh oh ohhh”
I knew that you wouldn’t see my emotions, “emotions”

Verse 1
I’m yawning, 6 in the morning
Gotta get to class at the crack of dawn and
Though I have no clue what these classes will do for me
That teacher AIN’T Foolin me, and her book AIN’T schoolin me,
I was late to her class, so I’mma get harassed , pardon me as I stumble in foolishly
But I better get my act straight G, my pops don’t play see, lately
He been askin’ FOR my grades, If I bring home a “C” I’ll be given more beats than Jay-Z,
’cause I got more beats than rihanna, I mean those hits that’ll take me to Bahamas
Working in my studio, late night pajamas, hoping that my parents could see my nirvana, but…

Chorus

Verse 2
Punch in punch out were my options,
There were times when I wish I meant boxing,
but I’m talking crunchin’ numbers like once a month for this job in Austin,
The rest of days I’m a slave to my boss and he’s a slave to his boss who AIN’T awesome,
around the office everyone was cautious, but behind his back called him the rat or the possum,
He favored all the sales dudes, over slave dudes, he said they make miracles like Jesus
It’s a miracle, he only saw my flaws,
and the only raise I saw was his brow when he paid you,
I guess I’ll go back to working on this railroad
All the live long day, and if he can’t see my value,
He’ll get two weeks to convince me to stay, or I’ll say…

Verse 3
man its late, bout 9, time to ring that phone
Wifey ain’t gonna like me, if I’m not back home
many nights, the family’s been waiting up alone,
the bills are piling up, soon the kid’s will be grown,
if I can get this raise then my face will be glowing,
most nights, spent fighting, with the wifey while showing,
8 months pregnant, time flies like a Boeing,
Flippin’ Job jugglin’ , cirque du soleil
If I was a musician, at least Work has some play,
But now, I heard its all work and no pay,
rest in peace, Music sales in the grave,
Oh well, can’t dwell, i’m a corporate slave,
Drinking minute maid, with federal Minimal aid
my lady’s in my ear bout our minimum wage,
she don’t see my hustle, and she cant seem to wait,
my knees bout to buckle carrying this weight……
