Aarti Party Renewed for Second Season on Food Network

Last month, Aarti Sequeira won The Next Food Network Star Season 6 and shortly had the premiere of Aarti Party on the Food Network. After only a few episodes, the Food Network has renewed her show for a second season. Aarti Party season 2 begins shooting in Los Angeles in October, with 13 all-new episodes to premiere in December.

So what’s in store for season 2, Aarti Sequeira states that “I hope to take you deeper into the Indian flavours you’ve been loving. I’ll show you how to make a few Indian classics that you’ve been asking for, as well as experiment with a few Middle Eastern and Asian flavours. And, you’ll finally get to meet some of the most important people in my life! Intriguing?! Why, yes!”

We’re looking forward to more Aarti Party. Party on!!

Dirty Little Secrets - Episode 9

The Dirty Little Secrets web series is almost over. In this episode, Riley gets her dream job as lead hair stylist for Lauren’s show during the first Fashion Week at Lincoln Center. Amazing clothes are hitting the runway, but the main event is backstage as Riley Kendrick finally comes clean to Lauren Belle. Look for stylist Jeanie Syfu as one of the key characters along with the motion graphics animation of Annie Wu.

Thoughts from Jeanie Syfu on Episode 9:

Riley’s confession fits right in with the drama that happens backstage at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. It requires plenty of coordination to juggle models coming in from other shows, press, celebrities, and of course making sure all the hair and makeup is consistent and perfect between wardrobe changes. The preparation backstage takes three to four hours, after months of planning, for a 10-minute show. It’s over in a blink of an eye and worth every second.
