You’re It by Gabe Bondoc

You're It by Gabe Bondoc

Although Gabe Bondoc is the only one singing in the video, “You’re It” is a collaboration between Gabe Bondoc and Ramiele Malubay for this original track. The acoustic song gives you a chance to relive childhood puppy love. It puts you back in the playground when everything was less complicated. Love doesn’t have to change with age. Love youthfully.

Check out these Gabe Bondoc tracks : Twitter Song and Hey Father.

Lyrics to You’re It by Gabe Bondoc & Ramiele Malubay

we can build a fort out of pillows in our living room
lay tag in the kitchen like we used to do
I can hide, you seek.. come find me

we can take our bikes to the park, you know the one downtown?
we can swing in the swings until the sun goes down
nothing’s changed with age

you’re still as lovely as the first day

i told my mama you’d be mine one day
i’d be your everything, could not wait
i’m so happy to say i was right

you…
are the only, for me
I’ve known for so long
You…
make me feel right, child like
I’m right where i belong
with you

teach me how to jump rope, i can teach you how to climb
play ball, then you can help me color in the lines
always knew, we’d make, a great team

i can be the cop, you’re the robber since you stole my heart
or red rover i can wrap you up in my arms
or play house.. in our house

(chorus)

pigtails and hand-me-downs
couldn’t disguise what you’d be
no, no, no…
I saw you then as i see you now
perfect, lovely, worth it to me, all I’d ever need

(chorus)

Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Get on a plane, we can fly away
It don’t matter how much time it takes
Travel the world, we can find a way
Hop on a rocket, we can fly to space
And we don’t gotta be apart
Go far, getting closer to see the stars
Yeah, no limit and we’ll never get stranded
Dreams taking us to a whole ‘nother planet

(verse 2)
Take your time, it don’t matter if you take too long
Your eyes, it don’t matter if the make up on
It still shines when I’m up at the wake of dawn
You’re part of the reason why I make these songs
When you shop, the brands don’t dress you
I’ma keep it real, I don’t need to impress you
Looking back to the first time I met you
You’re so right, I don’t need to correct you

(verse 3)
I ain’t gonna leave, I’m right here
Hop in a shuttle, we can travel light years
Interact with the galaxies
We’re a force of attraction, gravity
Our rocketship, nobody can take down
So fly to the sky, we’re spacebound
Aiming towards all the constellations
This is more than imagination
