Far East Movement’s Like a G6 has gone double platinum. The song first became platinum last month coinciding with the release of their Free Wired album. After a two week run in October at #1 on the Billboard 100 chart, the party track dropped to #2. However, this week fans and supports helps bring the song back to #1 this week. The return to the top spot also brought the news that Like a G6 went double platinum, which means it sold at least two million copies. In the words of Kev Nish, “That means a lot of people across America are feeling fly and like a G6 and getting slizzard.” Next stop triple platinum. Three finger up.
