The Journey directed by Patricio Ginelsa

The Journey directed by Patricio Ginelsa

Director Patricio Ginelsa shares his personal story of romance through his new short film “The Journey.” It shows you how the world of indie film can bloom into a relationship when you’re not even expecting it. This romantic comedy follows the courtship of Patricio and Melanie and was used on their wedding day. “The Journey” was written, edited, and directed by Patricio Ginelsa. (What else would you expect from a director?) The role of Patricio is played by Dante Basco, while Melanie (Mary-something) is played by Joy Bisco. Look for cameos by Rocky Rivera and Bambu. BTW – You’ll appreciate this one even more if you remember the film “The Debut.”

Congrats to Patricio and his wife Melanie.

454 Life Entertainment dropped a new track “I’m Hungover” with Nump Trump x Traxamillion. The song samples the theme song from “The Office.” This single fits perfectly the morning after a party like Rock, Rock, Rock or a New Year’s Eve party. We could potentially see it being used for the next Hangover movie or Harold and Kumar film. You can download this hangover track FREE here.

Google Demo Slam: Virtual Fashion Show

Here’s another Google Demo Slam out of Japan. Some trendsetting Japanese girls try on clothes using nothing but a projector and Google image search. It’s an interesting way to put on a virtual fashion show. All you need to do it put on some white clothes and project the style you want to wear. You can “try” on clothes without changing.

The Bloody Fish

The Bloody Fish

We just saw the intense and suspenseful short film “The Bloody Fish.” It’s an incredibly well done short shot in a 7D and 5D Mark II with amazing set design. This film will make you not want to cook fish or make you extremely careful next time you do. Here’s a synopsis of the short:

A story about a guy decides to make his loved one a special dish, by creating a unique recipe of his own using a cat fish. Will it be a surprise? Or is the idea unique enough?

You might need to watch it a few times to get the story connections. (Warning: If you don’t like the sight of blood, do not watch this film.) Stay til the end of the short to see some behind the scenes footage.
