Jeremy Lin named NBA D-League Player of the Week

Jeremy Lin and and fellow teammate Marcus Landry of the Reno Bighorns were today named NBA Development League (D-league) Co-Performers of the Week for games played during the week of January 10, 2011. The pair led the Bighorns to a 4-0 record on the week, and were both named to the All-NBA D-League Showcase First Team. Lin, a 6-3, 200-pound guard out of Harvard who is on assignment from the Golden State Warriors, averaged 20.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.8 steals. Lin displayed his all-around game in the Bighorns’ four wins. In victories over Maine and Sioux Falls at the NBA D-League Showcase, Lin averaged 21.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.5 steals, and he added 21 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals in Reno’s win against Texas on Saturday.
