Clap Your Hands – Asian American Remix

Clap Your Hands - Asian American Remix

Several Asian American music artists got together from coast to coast and South Korea to put together a remix of Korean groups 2NE1’s “Clap your Hands”. Artists involved with this production include Shock-1, Mark Agustin, Schoolboy DUKE, Megan Lee, and Johnnyphlo. The track continues to bring down barriers on collaboration. You might not have heard of Shock-1, but happens to be one of the most subscribed musicians in YouTube South Korea. Along with him, Mark Augustin, Schoolboy DUKE, and Johnnyphlo drop some strong verses. Nice supporting vocals on the hook from Megan Lee as well. The English/Korean remix was produced by Fort Lee. You can download the remix FREE here

If you weren’t at at the 2011 CES show, you would have missed this commercial for DTS. Every year DTS creates a promotional video for CES in Las Vegas. This year’s video was done by director Ross Ching in collaboration with conductor George Shaw. They wanted to make something that people would replay, something that would stimulate people’s minds when they view it on their computer screen. In the commercial, George Shaw conducts an orchestra of 40 speakers of various heights with paint on them. The final product is a pretty interesting visual. Check it out. For more details on the project, go here.

You may recognize Ross Ching’s work including 3 Minutes, Valentine by Kina Grannis, and Offbeat by Clara C. George Shaw’s work can be heard on many Wong Fu Production projects including Poser, Too Fast, These Four Walls, and more.
