Daily Life of NinjaHinja

Daily Life of NinjaHinja

Ryan Higa created a mocumentary about your average Ninja called “Daily Life of NinjaHinja”. He shows you what daily life of a ninja is like. Daily training includes strength, speed, “cardio”, and parkour. Of course, you can’t be a ninja without breaking things. And he breaks a lot of things. Last but not least, Ryan Higa shows you how to use the art of surprise. The broomstick gods are looking kindly on this ninja. (Ninja Say What?!)

Machine Civilization by World Order

Machine Civilization by World Order

Recently, Japanese pop group World Order released a mesmerizing music video for their song “Machine Civilization”. Led by former MMA fighter Genki Sudo, the crew displays some amazing robotic moves. The video has seriously sick choreography along with some insane tutting from the middle to the end of this piece. Although the song is mostly in Japanese, you don’t need to understand it to appreciate the message they are conveying. They produced this version with all the craziness happening in Japan. Here’s some commentary by Genki Sudo:

Many disasters are ongoing in Japan; earthquakes, Tsunami, and nuclear accidents. These unprecedented things may be able to change however from now. That’s why I expressed through World Order to convey some message to you on my own way. I see these accidents will become a turning point of civilization. I think the time of revolution is coming, where people in the world coexist with this planet against the system of modern society, economy and politics.

Any accident is neutral. Although we are straying around this deep darkness, I believe we can get through anything when each of us can let go of our fear and face things positively.

The world won’t change on its own. We do change one by one. That makes the world change. The darkness just before the dawn is deepest. So, we do rise up together to greet the brilliant morning truly coming for the human beings.

WE ARE ALL ONE

Friday Rebecca Black x Star Wars Spoof

Friday Rebecca Black x Star Wars Spoof

The team behind the Tik Tok Kesha x Star Wars Spoof is back with a new parody. This time the Star Wars crew spoofs Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’ in their own version, called ‘Primeday’. (Yes, Primeday is actually one of the days of the week in the Star Wars universe.) Princ(ess) Leia chills out with her crew Han Solo, C3PO, Luke Skywalker, and Chewbacca. Which seat should she sit in? Later in the song, Boba Fett does the rap section cruisin’ with his homie Darth Vader. The galaxy has never partied like this. Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the Rebellion. BTW – watch til the end to see some a Pulp Fiction scene with Darth Vader and Boba Fett.

(Thanks for the tip Ryan R.)

Gotta be fresh, gotta do my hair
Gotta roll my buns, gotta have blue milk
Force in everything, light saber’s glowin’
Attack is goin on, everybody’s fightin’
Meeting at bay nine-ty-four
Gotta find Kenobi, I see my friends

Solo in the front seat
Luke is in the back seat
Gotta make my mind up
Which one is my mate?

——-
It’s Primeday, Primeday
Gotta get down on Primeday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the Rebellion, Rebellion
Primeday, Primeday
Gettin’ down on Primeday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the Rebellion

Partyin, partyin (Yeah)
Partyin, partyin (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin’ forward to the Rebellion

Cruisin’ so fast, seein’ stars fly by
Fun, fun, think about fun
You know what it is

Gotta make my mind up
Which one is my mate?

Something by Bambu

Something by Bambu

Rapper Bambu released the track “Something” last month. Now he’s dropped a music video for the song. The single takes a look at domestic violence from a personal perspective. The song speaks on his family history with violence in the home, as well as his own struggles with it, even touching on the normalcy of such violence against women in our own Hip Hop culture. The DJ Phatrick produced tune samples Adele’s “Someone Like You.” The track will also be included on Bambu’s …Exact Change… re-release bonus EP, Short Changed, dropping on April 29, 2011. For now, you can download the song FREE here and here. Other music from …Exact Change… include Menacing Looks, Quit and Crooks & Rooks.

Here’s a few more domestic violence themed videos : Someday by May Ling, Walking On Thin Ice by Tila Tequila, and Beautiful by Jubilee Project.
