Singer AJ Rafael has gotten some great buzz for his song “Without You” off his Red Roses album. Now he’s working with director Ross Ching (Valentine by Kina Grannis & Offbeat by Clara C) to create his upcoming music video. The storyline looks like it might be pretty dramatic. In the Without You teaser, we see AJ Rafael in a relationship and the female lead looks to be shaving her hair in one of the clips. Also AJ Rafael and his band will be interspersed through out the video. The official video drops on July 12, 2011.

Rappers Verseatile x Traphik jointly released the track “Rebound.” This ones for the guys who have been the rebound guy and the ups and downs of being in that situation. Just when you think you’re getting close to a girl, she commits a personal foul thinking/talking about her ex. It’s a tough situation to be in. The single is catchy with that classic R&B vibe to it.

The Heartstrings music video was directed by Erik Lu of Descendant Films (The Introduction by Decipher) and shot by Daniel Zhao (who also shot Teach Me How To Dougie and directed Far East Movement’s Fetish and Lowridin’). Randy Little and Matthew Weng (who has worked on projects such as the Green lantern and Iron Man) were the head of visual effects for the music video.
