Mortal Kombat Legacy : Episode 9

Mortal Kombat Legacy : Episode 9

The Mortal Kombat Legacy webseries concludes with the final episode of season 1. In Mortal Kombat Legacy : Episode 9, director Kevin Tacharoen gives fans the long awaited finale. Plenty of Asian American faces and special effects in this one. We also get a couple of new character introductions: Cyrax and Sektor. Here’s a synopsis for Mortal Kombat Legacy : Episode 9:

Cyrax and Sektor are chosen to be the future of the Lin Kuei by the Grand Master, but Cyrax is less than enthusiastic about giving his life over to a cybernetic transformation that will erase his memories and turn him into the ultimate fighting machine. When he discovers that the cyborg he is fighting seems closely familiar, Sektor must keep Cyrax focused on destroying Hydro, and not himself or their future…

A few months back, channelAPA.com had a chance to chat with director Kevin Tacharoen about the series. Although fans want longer episodes, it’s not within his control to make the episodes longer. Discussion for Mortal Kombat Legacy : Season 2 is in the works, but nothing solid is in place quite yet. If season 2 does materialize, we might get longer episodes. You’ll see more of Kevin Tacharoen’s work shortly. He directed the Glee: The 3D Concert Movie coming out later this summer.

More about Mortal Kombat: Legacy

Mortal Kombat: Legacy brings to life the complex and rich history of the gaming world of MORTAL KOMBAT. Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung are obsessed with reigning over various realms (parallel universes) and the winners of Mortal Kombat competitions are granted supreme control over these worlds. The Earthrealm (Earth) is an unconscious participant in this competition and only a few select humans understand the consequences of losing Mortal Kombat and what it will mean to Earth. In a universe with powerful evil sorcerers, cyborgs, Gods and movie stars, this Mortal Kombat digital media series drives a cohesive understanding of what this Universe is all about.

I bet you wake up in the morning and you kiss yourself
‘Cause I would, if I was you
I bet you show up to the club and just dance with yourself
‘Cause I would, if I was you

If I was you girl
Here is what I’d do girl
I’d notice me here at this table, with my crew girl
We sipping goose girl
We getting loose girl
So won’t you sit up on my lap with that caboose girl
Shake it out

You ain’t a doll, you’re a silver dolla
It’ll be a crime, if I didn’t holla
Take a second, hear me out
If you still don’t get it, let me spell it out

O-M-G, you’re so sexy
You know you caught my eye with a B-O-O-T-Y
O-M-G, shawty’s such a freak
She says she wants to go back to my C-O-N-D-O
Let’s go
Let’s go

I bet you hop under the covers and play with yourself
‘Cause I would, if I was you
I bet you stand up in the mirror and stare at yourself
‘Cause I would, if I was you

If I was you girl
It be me and you girl
Would be no question, teach you lessons in my room girl
And if you with it girl, then you can get it girl
And if you thinkin’ it, let’s start drinkin’, let it go girl
Check it out

You ain’t a doll, you’re a silver dolla
It’ll be a crime, if I didn’t holla
Take a second, hear me out
If you still don’t get it, let me spell it out

O-M-G, you’re so sexy
You know you caught my eye with a B-O-O-T-Y
O-M-G shawty’s such a freak
She says she wants to go back to my C-O-N-D-O

Freddie Wong and the Wong gang put their spin on the upcoming film Cowboys and Aliens. Jon Favreau actually contacted them and gave them the resources and full creative freedom to make the video. They shot the short on the Universal Studios lot with bar fights and actual movie props. Get ready for a Western shootout with technology. See what these guys came up with! To quote one commenter, “Freddie doesn’t go to Hollywood, Hollywood comes to Freddie.” Yeeehawwwww!!!

Here’s more freddiew shorts with celebrities: Gun Size Matters with Shenae Grimes, One Shot with Eliza Dushku x Jayson Floyd, and Live action Time Crisis with Andy Whitfield.
