Off Tonight by Hopie Spithard

Off Tonight by Hopie Spithard

Female rapper Hopie Spithard dropped a new music video for her song “Off Tonight” off her Dulce Vita LP. Once again, she collaborates with director David Dutton, who was behind the Hopie music videos Be A Lady and the upcoming Space Case. The visuals for her latest breakup track features blinged out lips and breakdancing bears, who are played by the 700 Crew. (It kinda reminds us of The Lazy Song with the dancing monkeys.) Follow Hopie Spitshard as she pursues her music career and leaves anyone who doesn’t support her objective.

Listen to more Hopie Spitshard on these tracks : Headknock, Game Over, Yummy, and Trunk (The Remixes).

A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas trailer

A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas trailer

It’s Christmas in August. The trailer for the third Harold & Kumar film was just put online. (Welcome back John Cho and Kal Penn!!) The pot smoking duo is back this holiday season. Get the firs look at “A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas“. Here’s a synopsis of the movie:

A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas with John Cho, Kal Penn, and Neil Patrick Harris

After years of growing apart, Harold Lee and Kumar Patel have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrives at Kumar’s door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to Harold’s house ends with the “high grade” contents — and Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree — going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree takes them through party heaven — and almost blows Christmas Eve sky high.

Look for the comedy holiday film to be released on November 4th, 2011. The movies got Bobby Lee, NPH, and Santa Claus. You might want to watch Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay to get caught up.

Lyrics to Dreams Money Can Buy by Pmac

I had a dream I could buy my way to heaven
When I awoke I spent that on a necklace
They tell me money talks but it can’t buy love
Well I bet it’ll buy your girlfriend everything on her checklist
And turn my new chick to ex-b*tch
And the ones outta my league to next b*tch
Funny how, with all that money you’re the life of the party
But you without the money couldn’t get on the guest list
At-signs keep on mentioning me
But labels underestimated who I’m destined to be
Potential to be the mothaf*ckin best in the league
Cause I’m killing the opposition any day of the week
I swear, if cared about a SAT
I’d prolly get a PHD and be DOC
But that second hand consumption of that THC
Got me visualizing of being number ONE
So wait, how much it cost to be PAC
BIG or MAC DRE
Does the money buy dreams?
Or do the people dreaming of your money bring your life to a END first?
Dreams bullets could end
So I’m out here living life to the fullest again
I’m still dreaming you could shoot me while I’m sleeping
But I ain’t even thinking past the weekend
No f*cking reason

Room spinning I wonder if it’s routine
Guess in a minute it’ll be fine
Conversation with this girl I’ve never seen
She says we met about 3 times
Well oops, my bad. I started listing up excuses
Saying that I thought I recognized her, but the truth is
It’s hard recollecting every single person that I would see
When every single person’s at the party’s saying hi to me
With half way hugs, Cheek to cheek kisses
And all ’em judge me of off how I seem to be living
So I’m probably the person they was recently dissing
But as soon as we meet, they say I need to be listened to
So many suck-ups, my ass deserves a kissing booth
We touch the surface but the message is subliminal
Romanticism’s chemical, marijuana’s medicinal
And I’m consumed by all it just trynna picture the visual
I’m officially high
I just thought that you should know that
We just trynna have us a good time
Somebody tell me where the hoes at
Dreams stereotyped
You f*ck around with fame marry the hype
Just make sure you that you keep it in good company
And tell them dream killers that they shouldn’t f*ck with me

Living the Good Life music video by Chester See x David Choi

Actor/singers Chester See x David Choi collaborated on the song “I’m Living the Good Life” back in 2007. They waited awhile, but the track now has a music video starring the duo. The single puts a positive spin on life even when everything seems to go wrong. The video follows David Choi as he’s annoyed by Chester See.

You can get the single on Living the Good Life - Chester See and David Choi Creations (Demos from the Past)

Lyrics to Living the Good Life by Chester See x David Choi

Verse 1
Flat tire on the side of the road
You’re late for work, you forgot your phone
Seems like everything’s going wrong
Try your best to keep things cool
with everything goin wrong that’s hard to do
The list goes on and on and on
When life throws you down

Chorus
Put a little smile on your face.
Life’s not all rainy days.
It ain’t really that bad. Wash your troubles away
Take a little moment to say
“I’m living the good life”

(Verse 2)
Spilled coffee on your shirt yesterday
in parking lots we call freeways
Ohhhh livin in LA
your mailbox are full of bills
it has it’s way to make you feel like
Throwing up your hands!
Screaming out loud!
When you’ve hit the ground

(Chorus)

(Verse 3)
Even at your low, someone wishes they were you,
And would trade places in a heartbeat
to taste the life you do.
So when you feel like life’s too hard, you feel like giving up,
Think of everything and everyone that says you’re the lucky one.”

(Chorus)
