Freddie Wong begins production on Video Game High School

With his project “Video Game High School” fan-funded, Freddie Wong began production of the web series. Looks like Wes and Phil of Wong Fu Productions have taken a couple roles in the series as Korean bullies. Phil plays Old Boy, while Wes plays Kpop. In the behind the scenes footage, you can see the Wong Fu duo tandem bike in front of a green screen and confront one of the characters on a walkway & toss him.

Previously, Freddie Wong was in the Wong Fu shorts: Kung Fooled and Wong Fu Productions hits 1 million subscribers.

I Wish by Mio Soul

I Wish by Mio Soul

R&B newcomer Mio Soul released her debut EP “In My Skin”. Originally from Tokyo Japan, this former biologist and cheerleader turned singer uses a bilingual formula to bridge the gap between English speaking and Japanese speaking listeners. Possessing a vocal that has been fine tuned by the gospel churches of Harlem, Daytime Emmy Award winning music supervisor Dave Hnatiuk feels “Mio Soul is like a Japanese version of Alicia Keys.” Mio Soul writes simple songs about complex things: love, life, happiness and survival, and currently channels ideas through traditional R&B, Blues, Soul and Dance Music. Her drive to experiment with various genres comes from her recent relocation to New York City, a move that puts her closer to some of the most groundbreaking and inspirational movements related to music, art and fashion. Here’s tracklisting for her EP “In My Skin”:

1. Intro
2. I Wish
3. Let’s Party
4. Promise
5. The Past
6. Out Of My Life

Vibe So Hot by Priscilla Ahn

Vibe So Hot by Priscilla Ahn

Singer Priscilla Ahn released the music video for her song “Vibe So Hot” off her “When You Grow Up” album. The video blends stop motion and computer graphics as Priscilla Ahn tells you why she wants you right now. Although the video seems a little bizarre, there is a pay off at the end of the love song. It blends art and love together. You can download the single on Vibe So Hot - When You Grow Up or amazon.

Vibe So Hot by Priscilla Ahn

Lyrics to Vibe So Hot by Priscilla Ahn

You got a vibe so hot
You’re really really turning me on
Swimmin in your parking lot
I’m singing in a camp on your lawn

And everyday without you is just a waste of time
You’re the first thing on my mind when I wake up
You’re the last thing that I think of when I go to sleep
I’m throwing you my love so pick it up

And you can have me anytime you want
You can have me really anytime you want
You can have me anytime you want
You can have me really anytime you want

I want you now, I want you right now
I want you right now, I want you right now

I wanna hook you up
Boy I’m gonna set you on fire
I wanna turn your volume up
And listen to you all day long

Now every other station’s just a memory
I change you when your name broke off the dial
Is it funny how you just keep running into me?
I’ve been listening to your music for a while

And you can have me anytime you want
You can have me really anytime you want
You can have me anytime you want
You can have me really anytime you want

I want you now, I want you right now
I want you right now, I want you right now

1. Learn the Language
2. Practice the Aegyo
3. Do the Mildang
4. Know the Korean fashion
5. Accept that Korea is “The Best”
6. Do Not Look for a Korean boyfriend

It’s pretty much the recipe for success for virtually all Korean dramas. Here’s a message from the duo:

This is the first collaboration video of Kring Elenzano and Cherish Maningat-Bae…The video is informative, fun, and most of all made of so much crack. It’s done for entertainment purposes but it does not mean that we’re not being honest. By the way, Cherish is a professional musical actress, the first Filipina to ever be cast in a lead role in a Korean musical at that. Guuuurl knows how to act…
