More about The One and Only
In a sea of mid-sized cars, the reinvented seventh-generation Camry stands out as “The One and Only.” It’s a fitting title for the marketing campaign itself. In the compelling storyline, Lee plays a character Joon whose journey is dynamically linked to the many features of the Camry. “The One and Only” campaign is a complete, multi-platform and multi-language undertaking that will be seen across TV, print, digital, social media and more. Viewers can expect the full story to unfold in a four-part web series, with each episode highlighting a different aspect of the Camry, including the optional Entune multimedia entertainment system, a “Best in class” MPG rating, the advanced Blind Spot Monitor, and 10 standard airbags.

Twilight’s Booboo Stewart for PETA

Twilight's Booboo Stewart for PETA

Actor Booboo Stewart has captured the hearts of Twilight fans with his portrayal of wolfpack member Seth Clearwater. Offscreen, Booboo’s pack isn’t complete without his rescued pooch Pookie. Booboo stars with Pookie in a public service announcement for PETA to spread the message, “Buying Animals Is Killing Animals. Save a Homeless Dog or Cat—Always Adopt and Never Buy.”

“If you guys are interested in getting any kind of animal, definitely go and adopt,” Booboo shares in an interview with PETA. Adopting a dog or a cat from a shelter gives animals a second chance at life. Every year in the U.S., more than 7 million lost, abandoned, or unwanted dogs and cats enter animal shelters and more than half of them must be euthanized because there are not enough homes for them. Every dog or cat purchased from a pet store or a breeder takes away a home from an adoptable animal—meaning that one more animal in a shelter will die.

You can also catch Booboo Stewart in the upcoming film White Frog.

Post-Racial is short film that has been circulating the film festival circuit. The short was written and directed by Tim Tsai and filmed on location in Austin, TX in March 2010. Follow a screenwriter as he embarks on a quest to eliminate all racial stereotypes from his movie. His changes take place in real-time. It’s an interesting Graduate Thesis Film. Hope to see more from writer/director Tim Tsai.

The Broken Ones by Dia Frampton

The Broken Ones by Dia Frampton

Singer Dia Frampton released a music video for her song “The Broken Ones” off her upcoming Red album. (You might remember her on The Voice as part of Blake Shelton’s team.) Her single is about loving the faults that people have. It’s embracing and accepting people that may be perceived as weird or off. In the video, this is illustrated by a forest attack by invaders against the protectors of the broken ones. Inspired by Where the Wild things Are, Lord of the Flies, and Peter Pan’s Lost Boys, video evokes the emotions of being an outcast. However, the sense of isolation dissipates when you find others with similar feelings. The part-Korean singer lays it out on the track. You can get the single on The Broken Ones - The Broken Ones - Single.

Lyrics to The Broken Ones by Dia Frampton

I know they’ve hurt you bad
Why hide the scars you have
Baby let me straighten out your broken bones
All your faults to me make you more beautiful
I can’t help it I love the broken ones
the ones who need the most patching up
the ones who never been loved
never been loved
never been loved enough

Maybe I see a part of me in them
The missing piece always trying to fit in
the shattered heart hungry for a home
no you’re not alone
I love the broken ones

You don’t have to drive with your headlights off
It’s a pocket knife, not a gift from God
Don’t you learn of love from the love they kept
I will be your anchor, slowly, step by step

Maybe we can rip off the bandage
Maybe you will see it for what it is
Maybe we can burn this building holding you in
