Best Friend by Jason Chen

Best Friend by Jason Chen

Singer Jason Chen dropped the music video for his song “Best Friend”. The video follows him back to his childhood days as he plays with young Cathy Nguyen and continues their journey together as they grow up from junior high to college. They maintain their friendship together even though they are on different coasts. As the storyline progresses, the track reveals his true feelings has been pent up over the years and he’s fallen for his best friend. With his emotions tearing him up inside, he can’t take it anymore. Jason flies from the West Coast to the East Coast to be with his best friend Cathy Nguyen. Don’t they make a cute couple. (Does that mean Wes and Phil of Wong Fu Productions are out of the picture? Strangers, again.) You can get the song on Best Friend - Best Friend - Single or amazon.

Lyrics to Best Friend by Jason Chen

Do you remember when I said I’d always be there.
Ever since we were ten, baby.
When we were out on the playground playing pretend.
Didn’t know it back then.

Now I realize you were the only one
It’s never too late to show it.
Grow old together,
Have feelings we had before
Back when we were so innocent

I pray for all your love
Girl our love is so unreal
I just wanna reach and touch you, squeeze you, somebody pinch me
This is something like a movie
And I dont know how it ends girl
but I fell in love with my Best Friend

Through all the dudes that came by
And all the nights that you’d cry.
I was there right by your side.
How could I tell you I loved you
When you were so happy
With some other guy?

Now I realize you were the only one
It’s never too late to show it.
Grow old together,
Have feelings we had before
When we were so innocent.

(Chorus)

I know it sounds crazy
That you’d be my baby.
But you mean that much to me.

‘Cause nothing compares when
We’re lighter than air and
We don’t wanna come back down.

But I don’t wanna ruin what we have
Love is so unpredictable.

But it’s the risk that I’m taking,
Hoping, praying
You’d fall in love with your best friend

(Chorus) x2

I remember when I said I’d always be there
Ever since we were ten.
When we were out in the sandbox [playground] playing pretend.
Didn’t know it back then…

MILLIONS the webseries Trailer

Last year, Millions the webseries got funding from fans. After a year in the making, we get the first trailer for the series. Here’s more about the upcoming release for television and the web:

MILLIONS is the story of twenty-somethings, Brandon (the dreamer), Deron (the clown), Mary (the tomboy), Charlie (the cynic), Lia (the beauty), Jay (the playboy), and Eddie (the brain). They work mediocre 9 to 5 jobs, and waste away their nights bumming the streets aimlessly. The emptiness of their lives makes them apathetic, but not enough to do anything about it.

Until a tragedy hits the group that sparks Brandon on a quest.

In high school, the friends made a pact to become millionaires before the age of 30. It was a childish dream that faded with time. But after recent events, Brandon refuses to let it go any longer. He persuades his friends to join him in becoming the millionaires they once promised each other they’d be. And prove to each other that dreams aren’t something easily forgotten.

Millions stars Hubert Tran (as Brandon), Sarah Lian (as Lia), Andrew “Pyro” Chung (as Deron), Stephan Kim (as Charlie), Jasmine Chen (as Mary), Lee “Lethal” Pham (as Eddie) , Ben Brillantes (as Jay), and Ins Choi.

Lyrics to Let The Story Tell by FlowEthics x re:plus

Hook – Zanna (Rosanna Gamboa)
Sometimes we find it all to well
Maybe it’s time to let the story tell
Even though you may not speak
Your eyes are all you need to talk to me

Verse 1 – Romen (Raldy Coloma)
So we working and we building til we comfortable
For the fairly odd stars like cosmos
And we not defined by the amount of time
But we seem to use our lies as our line of fire
But these nine to fives got our minds surprised
And suppressed to even have a good grind at life
So my words on a paper speak light like a saber
Give advice, I’m gonna right all the wrongs that I made up
I’m a stay up I’m a keep it I’m a do it til I reach it
This is what I call that “figure it speeching”
It’s deaf tone plays in movies like touchstones
Engrave my expression on a rock like rushmore
To mush-on keep my foot in the front door
To run off like a sentence that doesn’t make sense
But it’s sentenced in your head
To remember it’s FE and replus from Japan, let’s go!!

Hook – Zanna (Rosanna Gamboa)
Sometimes we find it all to well
Maybe it’s time to let the story tell
Even though you may not speak
Your eyes are all you need to talk to me

Verse 2 – sDot (Samuel Labuen)
I can feel the pressure, it’s getting closer now
Ain’t no second guessing, how am I suppose to sound
When everybody trying to push you around
Then they see you on stage, and try to give you a pound
But I give daps back, you ask why?
Cause eye for an eye, can make the world blind
And I ain’t about that, I’m about tracks
ain’t about stacks, I’m about facts
Oh you can’t see, just hit the playback
On this CD, get you eyes back
Tryna find strength, what your life lack
Gotta learn to ride your own path, no high jack
Keep em on beat like a hi hat do
See me on the street, say hi my dude
Push up to the sky, to your heart be true
Weather this storm, I’ll be there for you

Verse 3 – T (Tristan Reparejo)
Open your eyes up to a new day
Leave the past behind, let’s never lose faith
No matter what the grind, let’s never lose strength
And we goin ride together until the blues break
Hardship, hard work, make my back strong
Hard beats, hard verse, make the track strong
Storm coming, never running, stay head strong
Never die, either you with or you’re dead wrong
Cause I ain’t the type to up and leave
I take my art to the heart, through the pen I bleed
And this is real life never make believe
And you just blind to the fact, but imma make you see that
No matter how hard the climb is
Still shine through all kinds of climate
Stand strong, the spirit keep on rising
Until we reach the top we surviving. We alive man

Hook – Zanna (Rosanna Gamboa)
Sometimes we find it all to well
Maybe it’s time to let the story tell
Even though you may not speak
Your eyes are all you need to talk to me

Here and Heaven by Yo-Yo Ma

Here and Heaven by Yo-Yo Ma

Cellist Yo-Yo Ma joins some of his friends bassist Edgar Meyer, mandolinist Chris Thile and fiddler Stuart Duncan to perform “Here and Heaven” off the “The Goat Rodeo Sessions” album. It’s a unique mix of music from this unified ensemble on a most remarkable and organic cross-genre project stemming from their friendship, and the title concept. Yo-Yo Ma sums it up by stating “In the end, what we’re trying to do is simply make music that transcends whatever roots or categories or backgrounds that it starts from–that just exists as something that we’re trying to express, through our community of values, as a moment in time creating very special music.”

You can get the single on Here and Heaven - The Goat Rodeo Sessions or amazon.

Here and Heaven by Yo-Yo Ma

Lyrics to Here and Heaven by Yo-Yo Ma

With a hammer and nails and a fear of failure we
are building a shed
Between here and heaven between the wait and the
wedding for as long as we both shall be dead
to the world beyond the boys and the girls trying
to keep us calm
We can practise our lines ‘til we’re deaf and blind
to ourselves to each other where it’s
Fall not winter spring not summer cool not cold
And it’s warm not hot have we all forgotten that
we’re getting old

With an arrow and bow and some seeds left to sow
we are staking our claim
On ground so fertile we forget who we’ve hurt along
the way and reach out for a strange hand
to hold someone strong but not bold enough to
tear down the wall
‘Cause we’re not lost enough to find the stars aren’t
crossed why align them why fall hard
not soft into
Fall not winter spring not summer cool not cold
and it’s warm not hot have we forgotten that
we’re getting old

Deepak Chopra’s Leela Video Game

Deepak Chopra's Leela Video Game

Deepak Chopra’s Leela video game is a groundbreaking interactive comcept that seeks to bring focus, energy and balance to everyday life. Leela is a journey of mind and body through play — helping us connect with the seven chakras which are energy centers within each of us.

The game is a one-of-a-kind experience that invokes full-body movement with meditation and breathing techniques, designed to unwind body tension and offer more focus for mind and spirit. “Leela” meant “play” in ancient languages – a concept vital to mind-body wellness. Through seven movements, Leela helps us connect with the Chakras – each movement focuses on a different part of the body. There is no winning or losing in Leela – Leela moves at an individual’s pace. The goal is to instill an inner sense of harmony, rejuvenation and balance.

Each person who experiences Leela will also have an opportunity to create a personalized “mandala,” or visual representation of the inner self. No two can possibly be alike, and each one reflects the beauty, nature, senses and imagination of the individual. Whether experienced for two minutes or two hours at a time, Leela offers an utterly unique means of relaxing and finding balance.

You can get the game for Xbox or Wii.
