454 Life Entertainment Toy Drive

The holiday season is a time for sharing and giving. And with the country’s current economic situation, many families are facing difficulty just trying to provide the basics. To help make the holidays merrier for families, 454 Films is inviting the community to its First Annual X-Mas for the Kids Toy Drive. You may not think the guys of 454 Life Entertainment care about the community, but they do. These guys remember their roots and they’re giving back.

“We saw news clips back in October where the local fire departments were in need of more toy donations, and we wanted to help” says Ginorocks, film director and partner of 454 Films. “Our goal is to collect a total of 10,000 toys and pass them out to kids on the day of the event. Then what we have left over we will donate to the fire departments that are in need of them.”

“Working with our sister company 454 Life Entertainment we believe we will be able to achieve our goal of collecting 10,000 toys” the film director continues.

454 Life Entertainment is an independent record label and home to music artists Thai, Drew Deezy and Nump. At a recent autograph signing event, the 454 collective had over 2,000 people at Eastridge Mall waiting in line to see them. 454 Films produces music videos and films (The Chosen One starring Rob Schneider, Missing, Yellow) under the 454 brand.

“We have pulled together local companies to help collect toys by using their locations as drop off spots.” These companies include popular San Jose based apparel company Breezy Excursion, Red Demon Tattoos which was voted one of the Best Tattoo Shops in the Bay Area and Cukui, a unique fashion company and boutique located in San Jose’s Japan Town. Additionally, these companies will help promote the toy drive and bring community awareness.

Lyrics to Young, Wild and Free by Snoop Dogg x Wiz Khalifa x Bruno Mars

[Bruno Mars]
So what we get drunk?
So what we smoke weed?
We’re just having fun
We don’t care who sees
So what we go out?
That’s how its supposed to be
Living young and wild and free

[Wiz Khalifa]
So what I keep ’em rolled up?
Saggin’ my pants, not caring what I show
Keep it real with my niggas
Keep it player for these hoes
And look clean don’t it?
Washed it the other day, watch how you lean on it
Give me some 501 jeans on it
Roll joints bigger than King Kong’s fingers
And smoke them hoes down ’til they stingers
You a class clown and if I skip for the day
I’m with your bitch smokin’ grade A

[Snoop Dogg]
You know what?
It’s like I’m 17 again
Peach fuzz on my face
Lookin’, on the case
Tryna find a hella taste
Oh my god, I’m on the chase, Chevy
It’s gettin’ kinda heavy, relevant, sellin’ it
Dippin’ away, time keeps slippin’ away
Zip in the safe, flippin’ for pay
Tippin’ like I’m drippin’ in paint
Up front, four blunts, like, “Khalifa put the weed in a J”

[Bruno Mars]
So what we get drunk?
So what we smoke weed?
We’re just having fun
We don’t care who sees
So what we go out?
That’s how its supposed to be
Living young and wild and free

[Wiz Khalifa]
And I don’t even care
Cause if me and my team in there
There’s gonna be some weed in the air
Tell ’em Mac

[Snoop Dogg]
Blowin’ everywhere we goin’ and now you knowin’
When I step right up, get my lighter so I can light up

[Wiz Khalifa]
That’s how it should be done
Soon as you thinkin’ you’re down
Find how to turn things around
Now things are lookin’ up

[Snoop Dogg]
From the ground up, pound up, this Taylor Gang
So turn my sound up and mount up and do my thang

[Wiz Khalifa]
Now I’m chillin’, fresh outta class, feelin’
Like I’m on my own and I could probably own a building
Got my own car, no job, no children
Had a science project, me and Mac killed it

[Snoop Dogg]
T-H-C, M-A-C, D-E-V, H-D-3, high as me
This is us, we gon’ fuss
And we gon’ fight and we gon’ roll
And live off life

[Bruno Mars]
So what we get drunk?
So what we smoke weed?
We’re just having fun
We don’t care who sees
So what we go out?
That’s how its supposed to be
Living young and wild and free

[Wiz Khalifa]
Yea, roll one, smoke one
When you live like this you’re supposed to party
Roll one, smoke one, and we all just having fun
So we just, roll one, smoke one
When you live like this you’re supposed to party
Roll one, smoke one, and we all just having fun

[Bruno Mars]
So what we get drunk?
So what we smoke weed?
We’re just having fun
We don’t care who sees
So what we go out?
That’s how its supposed to be
Living young and wild and free

Something I Said by Jason Min

Something I Said by Jason Min

Singer Jason Min released the music video for his song “Something I Said”. The single and music video has a profound meaning to the artist and his faith. Here’s more from the singer:

The inspiration for the song actually comes from the book of Hosea, one of my favorite books in the Bible that tells the heartbreaking story of a man who must marry and love a woman he knows will cheat on him time and time again. The climax of the story occurs when Hosea finds himself at a slave market paying the price of a female slave to buy his own wife back. In this beautiful scene of utter brokenness and humility, Hosea takes Gomer home and says to her, “Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee.” (Hosea 3:3)

I remember reading this over and over again wondering what it would be like to be in a loveless marriage with an adulterous wife. I decided that I wanted to write a song that would capture the heart of a man who has no idea why his marriage with his wife has deteriorated and desperately wants to recapture a love that has been lost. In doing so, I spent a lot of time thinking about my own relationship with God, the consummate lover who pleads with me to come back to Him even when every ounce of my being wants to rebel, a God who watches me cheat on him daily in my worldly pursuits and yet willingly chooses to love me, a God who paid the ultimate price to buy me back.

You can get the track on Something I Said - Jason Min - EP or amazon. Also listen to his song The Man and His Wife.

Lyrics to Something I Said by Jason Min

Let’s take a drive down the road, Love, to the spot in the park
with the trees and the waterfall and the bench where we met
I’m on the porch you’re at the table, that’s how it is most nights
You’re looking out through the window, I’m looking in at you

’Cause every time they come for you
you leave your ring with me
And I’m wondering when you’re coming back home
and if you were ever mine

Don’t go to sleep, not tonight, Love, let’s stay awake for a while
I know it’s late and you’re tired, but can I talk to you now
Maybe we’ll find what we lost, Love, I pray that we do
I’m pretty sure that I’m dying a little faster than you

’Cause every time they come for you
you leave your ring with me
And I’m wondering when you’re coming back home
and if you were ever mine

Was it something I did, was it something I said to you
Was it something I did, was it something I said to you

’Cause every time they come for you
you leave your ring with me
And I’m wondering when you’re coming back home
and if you were ever mine

Let’s take a drive down the road, Love, to the spot in the park
with the trees and the waterfall and the bench where we met
