Lyrics to Off Guard by Melissa Polinar

everybody says you’re amazing
tell me what I don’t know and
what I love about you is you’re real

everyday I think that I’m dreaming
where did all the rain go
and its taking me awhile to see what’s real

i had my head down
but when you came around
I knew there was life ahead
beyond what’s in front of me

chorus:
hey now
thought i had it all figured out
but honey, you caught me off guard
and I had all these walls
ready to push you out
but honey, you caught me
caught me off guard

I never needed a rescue
not a dame in distress
’cause all I want is a love I can see-through
sweet-nothings are nothing
when there’s absolutely nothing
for me to hold on to

i had my head down
but when you came around
I knew there was life ahead
beyond what’s in front of me

bridge:
i’m tired of pretending
I’m slowly comprehending
I want to…I want to be with you

Lyrics to Valentine by Triangle Offense

Valentine…
Be my…
Valentine…

Verse: Sci
I don’t have to say you’re beautiful
You’ve got plenty other guys to say those words for you
And I don’t have to say you run the show
All it takes is a word, I lose control for you (I know)

::CHORUS:: (2x)
I know you’re not my girlfriend, but
I swear that I love you
Baby, I do

Verse: Bry
He messed up, made you sad as hell
Buy you red roses, AJ Rafael
Give you red roses, buy a couple dozen
Whatever happened with him, just know it ain’t nothing
Wish you good luck before you take your exam
Pick you up from school, tell me how your test went
Looking at you makes me wanna be a better man
Every moment I’m with you is time well spent
See how guys treat you with the writings on the Wall
“Likes” for your affection, @’s for your attention
I’m seeing the trend, these guys fail to mention
They sound like all actors missing some direction
Same lines, and they say it all the time
I know it ain’t genuine, you say you don’t mind
Don’t need a month or a week to make you mine
All I need is one day, baby, be my Valentine

Verse: Sci
I don’t have to say you stole my heart
’cause anything I have I freely give to you
And I knew right from the very start
That the only place I belong is next to you (So even though I know)

::CHORUS::

…and I know you love me too
Valentine…
Be my…
Valentine…
