Jeremy Lin flirts with triple double in Knicks loss
Jeremy Lin racked up a massive stat line with 21 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and four steals but the New York Knicks lost to the Nets 100-92 at MSG on Monday night. Lin was not as dominant as he was in his previous game against the New Jersey Nets. The Nets changed their game plan against Lin with successful defense by quickly converging on him inside the paint, making it hard for him to see shooters on the perimeter or receive easy looks at the rim. The second-year point guard hit 7-of-18 shots from the floor, 2-of-4 from 3 point land, and committed only three turnovers. He’s definitely maturing into his role quickly by taking care of the ball better. Moving forward, he is near triple-double will have opposing playing him more defensively. (He’s gotten a triple double with the Erie BayHawks : Knicks D-League)
