Jeremy Lin gets double double in Knicks win over Cavs
by Kevin Hsieh - channel APAIn their first game since the All-Star break, the New York Knicks cameback from a deficit as deep as 12 points at halftime to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jeremy Lin’s double-double (19 points, 13 assists) helped the Knicks in a 120-103 home win over the Cavaliers on Wednesday night. In the two games prior to the All-Star break, he averaged 12.5 points, 6.0 assists and 6.0 turnovers, while missing 15 of 22 shots. Those were a rough two games when compared to his first 10 games as an NBA phenomenon. He averaged 24.6 points, 9.2 assists and 5.6 turnovers, excelling in the pick-and-roll and bringing D’Antoni’s offensive schemes into focus.
