Edgy, wild, hilarious, always drama-filled: that’s just a normal night in K-Town, the epicenter of Korean American culture and nightlife in Los Angeles where eight young Asian American friends are about to experience the craziest weekend of their lives. These larger-than-life personalities shock and defy all stereotypes, fight through loads of drama, and challenge their relationships to the brink. In the end, their heritage and love of this incredible, uniquely American subculture will always be the tie that binds them together.
Get ready for a wild summer with these party people. Expect more controvesy to arise before the first episode even drops. As we saw in the K-Town Reality Show Sizzle Reel last year, the show’s got grinding, girl on girl action, half naked buff guys, drinking, fighting, drinking, dancing, and drinking.
The sixth episode of Prison Dancer has pop journalist Matt Wells exploring the relationships between inmates and the loved ones who wait for them. This episode features a love song duet by Mikey Bustos x Catherine Ricafort as Christian and Cherish. Cherish is willing to wait as long as it takes for Christian to be released from jail, while Christian wants her to forget about him. Listen as the two sing from their perspectives on their respective sides of the prison walls.

More about Prison Dancer
Prison Dancer is the story of 6 Filipino prisoners whose lives are forever changed by the dancing rehabilitation program that became a worldwide viral sensation on Youtube. Using surveillance footage, interviews with inmates inside the prison, and good old fashioned investigative journalism, pop culture journalist Matt Wells uncovers the personal, poignant, hilarious and universal stories of 6 prison dancers whose group dancing turned a maximum security jailhouse into a world stage.
Behind the prison walls, we meet inmates Ruperto Poblador aka LOLA (who along with his gay minions OO OO and NANA, choreographs the first prison dance routines), HOOKAPS, (the prison hustler), SHAKESPEARE (the prison’s resident poet) and CHRISTIAN, (the prison’s newest inmate) and discovers a tale of life, death, dreams, fears and ultimately, redemption.

Karaoke version of Evermore
Lyrics to Evermore by Mikey Bustos x Catherine Ricafort
CHERISH
Can’t be without you
And the world will try to divide us, and
I know you saw what we could have been, so
You can’t tell me that I am wrong
Can’t breathe without you
And the line you draw divides us, and
If we are the only thing that makes me feel like this, then
How am I supposed to move on?
But I believe that you and me
Will someday find our happy ending
I believe in evermore, with you forevermore, baby
And I believe that you and me
Will somehow find a new beginning
I believe in evermore
with you forevermore baby with you
With you
CHRISTIAN
On the inside…
this is my life…
I’m not going nowhere…
stay on the outside
please don’t care about me…
CHERISH
Don’t try to fight it
You can fight the world but you can’t fight me,
you protect yourself and set me free . . but
how will you carry on
You can’t deny it
I feel your heartbeat next to mine . . oh
I know it’s just gonna take some time . . but
together we can be strong
but I believe
that you and me
could one day find our happy ending
I believe in evermore
with you forevermore, baby
and I believe
that you and me
will one day have our new beginning
I believe in evermore
baby forevermore, with you with you…
CHERISH
There is hope in the world, you just gotta believe it
Say there is, say there is no other
All my life I’ve been waiting for you ….
and now
The wait is over
CHRISTIAN
On the inside, this is my life
I’m not goin nowhere . . .
Stay on the outside
Please forget about me….
On the inside, this is my life
I’m not goin nowhere . . .
Stay on the outside
Please don’t care about me..
Please forget about me…
Please don’t care about me..
Please forget about me…
CHERISH
one day we’ll find our happy ending
one day we’ll find our happy ending
one day we’ll find our happy ending
one day we’ll find our happy end.

Rapper Lil Crazed released a music video for his single “Lost A Fan”. The track talks about the balance between chasing a music career and taking care of his relationship. His music take precedent over his significant other and now he’s lost an important fan. It’s a sad song about going after two things you care about, but in the end only one remains. The single makes you contemplate about what really matters in life and where your priorities are.
~chorus
stuck up in the past and i can’t think straight,
filling up my cup with Hennessy,
trying to figure out where the hell i went wrong,
and why you’re gone, why i’m alone
and why the hell i feel the need to write this song
~she told me that she really was a fan of me,
but she wasn’t a fan of when i leave,
i told her, baby i’m living out my dream,
she said, what about me?
huh? huh? what about me?
but i’m doing this for us, baby trust,
i’ma get a car, and a mansion and plus,
she stopped me there with her hand in there
said, i don’t care about any of that stuff, so if you want it then that’s fine
but i don’t wanna spend your money and i hope you know that i just wanna spend some time,
i said i know,
and we will when i get back home,
and she said no we won’t,
you’ll be out with your boys or in the studio,
damn you know me,
you know me too well,
damn you know me,
more than i know myself
and now she’s gone,
and i’m alone,
i lost a fan,
but i’m still cold
~laying in a bed that i’ve never been in,
for the same old reason,
then a woman starts knocking on the door,
she says, “housekeeping”
i tell her that i’m good, but really “inside” i’m not,
my “room’s” a mess and i, can’t seem to clean this “spot,”
i need a new towel cuz i threw it in,
gave up on everything her and i could’ve been,
but my “covers” still clean cuz i’m good at hiding things
and i hope my fans don’t get to see this side of me,
gear up for the stage, time for the show,
rock the crowd, and then i’m gone,
check out at noon, catch my flight,
get back to town, where’s my ride?
wait, where’s my ride,
wait, where’s my ride,
gotta call a cab,
she’s not outside
cuz now she’s gone,
and i’m alone,
i lost a fan,
but i’m still cold
