Never Fall in Love by Gerald Ko

Never Fall in Love by Gerald Ko

Singer Gerlad Ko released a tea-inspired music video for his single “Never Fall in Love”. In the video, he plays a clumsy guy who falls for a girl in a cafe. He tries really hard to impress her, but ends up in failure every time. It’s a cute love story. Will he find love or will he never fall in love?

His friend and amazing artist Red (Hong Yi) who “paints without a paintbrush” features her artwork at the end of the video. You can get the single on Never Fall in Love - Never Fall in Love - Single or amazon.

Lyrics to Never Fall in Love by Gerald Ko

I will never fall in love I’ll never fall in love
The way I fell in love with you
Endless words butterflies
Choking love on their way out
Listening for signs of us in every melody
quick hellos long goodbyes
the beauty of the scenic route
imagining the things i’d say if u were next to me
dear, I cannot say, what the wind will bring
or if there’s anything for us but

(chorus)
I will never fall in love I’ll never fall in love
The way I fell in love with you
No I can never fall in love, I’ll never fall in love
The way I fell in love with you

Times alone, never hard
Blissful thoughts of you and I
mere a chance to sink into a daydream reverie
on the phone, in the car
stuck in traffic half past five
not a care because I know that you’re in love with me
dear, I cannot say, what the wind will bring
or if there’s anything for us but

(chorus)
I will never fall in love I’ll never fall in love
The way I fell in love with you
No I can never fall in love, I’ll never fall in love
The way I fell in love with you

Close your eyes, listen close
as I sing this lullaby
Will you maybe dream of me as I will dream of you

I will never fall in love I’ll never fall in love
The way I fell in love with you
No I can never fall in love, I’ll never fall in love
The way I fell in love with you

Going viral out in Asia is the short film “unfold, ” which utilizes music from some of your favorite Asian American artists (David Choi, Kina Grannis, Gerald Ko). The romantic short film tackles one of the most difficult things in a relationship: how do you tell someone you like them. Sometimes we just want to be with the person we like, but when they don’t like you back, you really want them to be happy and at the same time you don’t. The heart touching story “unfold” follows two very close friends, one male and one female. They know each other’s likes, dislikes, and quirky tastes. The two are stuck at a stage where they are close, but not more than that until another person comes into the picture. What happens to their friendship when one of them is interested in someone new? You want the best for that person, but at the same time, you want that person to be yours.

Lyrics to Like Money by Wonder Girls x Akon

Love me like
Love me like
Love, love, love me like money
The Wonder Girls and Akon
Love you like, love you like, love you like

Listen to me now, my heart is screaming now
I’m tryin’ to show you how to touch me
I’m not just a girl, I’m more precious than pearls
And I deserve all you got babe

So if you’re gonna hold me
Baby don’t let go of me
Give me all you got, I want everything
My heart is a treasure, one that can’t be measured
Let me teach you how to love me

Love me like money, love me like cars
Love me babe, love me babe wherever you are
Love me up close, love me from afar
Love me babe, love me babe wherever you are

Love me like money, love me like cars
Love me babe, love me babe wherever you are
Hold me like diamonds, treat me like a star
Love me baby, love me babe wherever you are

Stop listening to your friends
They just want your man
Misery loves a little company
Don’t feed into them lies
Want you by my side
Why is it so hard to trust me

Let go of your fears girl
Promise I’ll be here girl
I won’t let your heart skip a beat
I’ll take care of you if you take care of me girl
Won’t ever leave you lonely

Love you like money, love you like cars
Love you babe, love you babe wherever you are
Love you up close, love you from afar
Love you babe, love you babe wherever you are

Love you like money, love you like cars
Love you babe, love you babe wherever you are
Hold you like diamonds, treat you like a star
Love you babe, love you babe wherever you are

Look boy I’ve been through some things
Seen a little sunshine, seen a little rain
My heart’s been through some pain
And I don’t want to go back through it again
So I’m letting you know upfront
If you plan on being the one
Listen to my instructions
‘Cause I’m gonna teach you how to love
Love you like, love you like
Hundred dollar bills, brand new wheels
Love me like, love me like
Fresh new haircut, boy I need you to
Love you like, love you like
New pair of kicks, ice on your wrists
Love me like, love me like

Love me, love me, love me, love me, love me, love me, love me, love me, love me, love me

(Oh) Love me like money, love me like cars
(Oh) Love me babe, love me babe wherever you are (Ever you are)
Love me up close, love me from afar
Love me babe, love me babe wherever you are (oh oh)
Love me like money, love me like cars (Love me, love me)
Love me babe, love me babe wherever you are (oh, oh)
Hold me like diamonds, treat me like a star
Love me babe, love me babe wherever you are

You Know You’re Asian If (Part 2) by Just Kidding Films

Just Kidding Films is back for another round of “You Know You’re Asian If“. Back by popular demand Bart and Joe bring you more typical Asian home experiences. If you’re Asian, some of the household items you see around the house include a wok, a water boiler, trash cans lined with plastic bags, dishwashers used as a dish rack, batteries stored in the freezer, food that’s been frozen and expired in the fridge, and a bed that feels like bricks. From you personal experience, you may have gone to an Asian language school, speak in Asian English, eat disgusting animal parts as delicacies (like chicken feet), try to get your money’s worth at a buffet, were proud when Far East Movement and/or Jeremy Lin made it, love karaoke, consume green tea ice cream or red bean popsicle, got beaten with a feather duster as a child.

Rebel music video by Teesa x Dante Basco

Rebel music video by Teesa x Dante Basco

Pop/Dance artist Teesa premieres her music video for her single “Rebel.” Her second music video off her Rebel EP depicts Teesa and her gang of Rebels preparing for a showdown with another gang in an all-out dance battle that combines high energy grunge, punk and glam rock in one video. Dante Basco (Hook, Avatar: The Last Airbender) makes a cameo appearance as the leader of the rival gang to Teesa’s and makes an unforgettable performance to remind both gangs what brings everyone together. This video was inspired by Dante’s most iconic role to date, Rufio, as a symbol of rebellious youth and staying young forever. Teesa states, “What led me to write Rebel was actually my personal experience with being an Asian female in the music industry. They tell me I’m considered foreign territory. But I think it takes a rebel to change that ideal, so I’m going to fight to be who I am.” She plans to promote “Rebel” by making various appearances at dance clubs in the greater Los Angeles area. The music video is also the directorial debut of Daryl Gilmore, who brings the gritty and dirty world of the Rebels to life through a combination of quick handheld camera shakes and slow-motion action shots. You can get the single on Rebel - Rebel - EP.

All of my issues grafitti the walls
I’m caught in red and blue lights
