Wei Shen tries to leave the triad, but faces the fight of his life. He must face Tong and his henchmen to escape. The video is cranked it up a notch from their first live action short earlier this year. Get ready for some gritty non stop action sequences.
The guys behind JuBa Films (More than Bread and Big Trouble in Little Bistro) are going down the LXD route with their latest short “With A Piece Of Chalk”. They tell the story of a young boy called Justen, who went through a doleful past, but discovers a way to change his situation greatly. He doesn’t have the best home or school life, but a piece of chalk transforms his situation, even if it’s for a moment. It’s an incredible piece of storytelling without a single spoken word, not to mention dynamic dancing from a little kid. (The kid Justen Beer of Hustle Kidz has bboy skills that rival someone much more experienced.) JuBa Films makes an impressive departure from their action dance choreography with this touching short film.
