Internet Icon : The Guest Star Challenge (Part 1)

The Top 3 Internet Icon contestants (FU music, Lana McKissack, and Brothers Riedell) compete in “The Guest Star Challenge”. In the biggest challenge so far, the contestants have 5 hours to shoot and edit a skit/sketch video using guest celebrity Damien Dante Wayans (chosen by the judges) as well as all 4 of the actors from the ICONography Wall. Additionally, they must shoot and edit a Vlog video along with a music-based video. That’s three videos in one day. Who has what it takes to take it to the finish line? They’ve got to be a well-rounded Internet Icon.

Bottom Dollar by D-Pryde

Bottom Dollar by D-Pryde

Rapper/singer D-Pryde once again collaborates with director Rik Cordero. Their latest work together is the music video for D-Pryde’s Bottom Dollar off his Flagship mixtape. The love song is very different from D-Pryde’s recent works as he sings and raps on the track. In the video, D-Pryde scours the city trying to impress a girl, but he’s met with disasters with each attempt from buying flowers to getting candy to shopping for a ring. Although he’s met with obstacles everytime, it doesn’t stop him from his ultimate goal to connect with the one he loves. You can bet your bottom dollar he’ll be there.

[Verse 1]
Well hello, and hi there
Never knew you were weird like me
Thought I was the only one
Now it seems like I’m not that lonely
Can’t believe your boy don’t understand you
And it seems like you don’t love it
And I think we have more in common
So think twice
We can be like Cosmo and Wanda
Music and lyrics
Under these blankets and covers
We can be like waffles and syrup
So take my hand today
We can make now into last week
And turn you and him to you and me so

[Hook]
I’ll take you to a place where
You don’t have to think of him
We can go wherever you want
It won’t cost you a damn thing
Love don’t got no price at all
If you need me
You can bet your bottom dollar
I’ll be there (x3)
You can bet your bottom dollar
I’ll be there

[Verse 2]
I’m seriously drawn by the way that you’ve been overly hurt
Because I’m always there to try to make you know what you worth
A young lady that’s amazing, and you’re perfect, I tell it
From that cute poke’in bottom to them perkyish melons and you’re a felon
That smile is better than fresh pancakes
I can’t believe you and your stupid man date
I know I’m saying everything too weird and really fast pace
But I just wanna cuddle your butt and give you my last name, Yeah!
Cause everyday I give you love as a deposit
I don’t need a million dollar or some cash up in my wallet
To keep you up in my heart
You scrumptious I need a bite
Let’s sit and watch Superbad
Eating noodles or sticky rice
And not care ’bout everybody
We’ll be out on our way
You the apple of my day
The juice to my Minute Maid
With that make-up on your face
I can tell that you try
And ain’t no other man better than, better than, better than

[Hook]

[Verse 3]
Tell me all the things that made you pissed
Am I really sprung, well a little bit
So you’re found
You can bet your bottom dollar I’ll be there

Through every little thing that he can’t do
Just keep this energy between me and you
So when you’re down…
You can bet your bottom dollar I’ll be there, so

[Hook]

[Breakdown]
Take you to a place where
You don’t have to think of him
We can go wherever you want
It won’t cost you a damn thing
Love don’t got no price at all
If you need me
You can bet your bottom dollar
I’ll be there
