Rappers Traphik x dumbfoundead dropped the music video “What Do I Have To Do!?” off Traphik’s Cruise Control mixtape. The duo shows you how they grind it out in music and entertainment with clips of past vlogs and performances. They know it’s the fans that make them and you can see how they treat their fans. Traphik and dumbfoundead showing fans some love and haters the door.
As we get closer to Halloween, we are increasingly seeing this Snickers commercial. When he’s hungry in Halloween, the Headless Horseman becomes the Horseless Headsman. On Halloween night, kids are out trick or treating and along comes a giant head with kids’ feet sticking out. The head is a CGI head of a white haired older man, who bumps into a car as he walks down the sidewalk and encounters a group of kids. It says, “I am here for your heads! I’m the horseless headsman”. The kid in the alien costume says, “I think you mean the headless horseman”. “No, I mean the horseless headsman”, the big head replies. The Asian kid dressed as dracula says, “Have a Snickers”, and hands him a Snickers Bar. Big Head says, “Why?” Asian kid replies, “Because you get confused when you’re hungry”. Big Head puts Snickers in his mouth and eats it. Asian kid says, “Better?” Big Head says, “Better!” The commercial concludes with the tag line “You’re not you when your’re hungry”. The Gangnam Style craze is still going on. The worlds of PSY’s Gangnam Style and John Carpenter’s Big Trouble in Little China collide in this parody. Fans of the film will get a kick out of this as musical treat based around ancient sorcerer Lo Pan and packed with movie references. Even actor James Hong makes a cameo. (He played the Lo Pan in the film.)

The upcoming YOMYOMF webseries Reality Reboot with Chester See explores what if you could take back a moment in time and fix it, especially if that person is the “one”. Chester enters a laundromat late at night and tries to hit on cutie Naomi (Elizabeth Ho). It’s a disaster, but all is not lost: with the help of three sports-type commentators giving him advice and Andrew Garcia, Chester will get to “reboot” the moment until he gets it right. (Think Groundhog’s Day the movie.) But things don’t go quite as planned…
Rapper Hopie released the music video for her single Heartbeats off her “Sugar Water” album. The girl power song gets a visual treatment that shows women in non-traditional roles of strength. Double threat Bruno Mars brought it to SNL over the weekend. He pulled double duty as host and musical performer. (We’ve seen some of his humor in The Lazy Song, The Lazy Song with Leonard Nimoy, and Whatta Man). The singer faced his nerves head-on and opened the shows with a musical number. Bruno showed this comedic chops with several skits and a couple of musical performances. He shows his robotic movements at the Amusement Park, where things get spooky when the Merryville Halloween animatronics act out on a broken ride. For the mock TV show Haters, he plays a young girl on the talk show with boos for everyone, trolls the bottom of the barrel for guests and haters. In Sad Mouse, Bruno suits up as an emotionally distraught mascot works for tips in Times Square and finds true love. In the Pandora sketch, he becomes the human jukebox Devin, the Pandora intern. As people select songs on Pandora after the power goes out, he tries his best to sing song to keep Pandora going including Green Day, Aerosmith, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Louie Armstrong, and Michael Jackson singles. (The Pandora sketch is not available online probably due to rights issues). In addition to skits and sketches, Bruno Mars performed two of his latest songs Locked Out Of Heaven and Young Wild Girls.
