This is how we never met by Wong Fu Productions

The guys at Wong Fu Productions released their latest short film “This is how we never met” featuring Ki Hong Lee and Tiffany “TC” Chung. Although two people who are drawn to each other, they end up giving up on their initial attraction over the course of a few poorly timed events, misunderstandings and assumptions. For better or worse, the short is inspired by all the times you’ve seen someone across the room at a cafe/park/library, but never had the guts to say anything for one reason or another. Sometimes our imagination just gets out of control. Here’ more from Wong Fu Productions about the sktech:

We hope it motivates you not to judge people from afar, and maybe gives you a little courage to take chances. At the same time, don’t use this as inspiration to be that crazy guy/girl who approaches everyone, lol. Good luck!

Hopefully, this video inspires you to take the next step, but don’t go crazy.

My True Happy album by Arden Cho

My True Happy album by Arden Cho

Model/actress/singer Arden Cho released her debut EP album “My True Happy”. The nine track album is a labor of love for the singer investing time, money and heart into the passion project. It’s an album filled with personal stories from her life. She uses music as an outlet to heal from broken relationships and to learn to let go. Although these seem like dark times alone, some of the more joyous track received a little assist from some of her friends like comedian David So and singer Travis Graham from New Heights. The last few songs on the album set a happier tone with love in the air. Hopefully, you’ll be able to pick up some encouragement when you listen to her EP.

Here’s the tracklisting:

1. My True Happy
2. Better Off
3. Over You
4. Memory
5. I’m the One to Blame
6. With You
7. Don’t Run
8. Baby It’s You
9. Didn’t Know

The song is dedicated to Neda Agha-Soltan, a 26 year old woman who died by a fatal shot to the chest by Iranian authorities during the 2009 election protests. Her death was captured on video by bystanders, put on the internet, and went viral around the world. Neda became the face of Iran’s democracy movement – and the voice of women in Iran. The music video contains real footage from her death. (It is disturbing and mature content.) Also Everything you hear was a sound made by Kawehi.

Lyrics to NEDA by Kawehi

You know you’re screwed when you’re walking on shells
and fire’s burning like a demon from hell
In your lungs, to your tongue

When a teacher does his best to protect
but still a bullet finds its way to her chest
she said, “Burning, I’m burning!”

Feel the earth rumble no one’s safe –
on the streets of Tehran

You can take my eyes
But leave your stones in your gardens
Your rivers, your roads
You can take my eyes
You can claim that the way I dress
is offensive to your God

They want you gone and silent,
declare you a martyr and let the streets run violent
Do your best to comply
a pension for your lies

They said,
“Neda, don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid”
“Neda, stay with me, stay!”

You can take my eyes
But leave your stones in your gardens
Your rivers, your roads
You can take my eyes
You can claim that the way I dress
is offensive to your God

I am responsible
I know that now
The laws are so simple;
you let what you allow
I know that now
A voice should be heard
You showed me why and how

“Neda, don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid”
“Neda, stay with me, stay!”

You can take my eyes
But leave your stones in your gardens
Your rivers, your roads
You can take my eyes
You can claim that the way I dress
is offensive to your God

peace and love to all of you.

Yea. Okay, girl we on/ I know you been tripping lately
Can you please keep calm/
We been fighting for a while I can’t tell who’s wrong/
who’s right? alright, but like… you keep going on/

And on & on… while we out here for dinner/
yea I said, we out here for dinner/
why you looking mad? Imma keep it real.
I said you pick out a spot & baby I take care of the bill/

But she said it aint the money, it aint about the money/
She said she’ll give it up to hear me say that you just love me/
I told her are you serious, you know I don’t love,
And she said mothaf*cka man up, man up. Yea

Hook:
Damn I’ve been tripping/ lost in a minute/
I guess my girl she suggesting that i just start it & finish/
Cuz if I thought I knew her, She knew me better/
So I guess that its clever that I just get it together and say/
Girl I gotchu girl, Girl you know I gotchu girl
I said I gotchu girl, Girl you know i gotchu girl.
I know your tripping every time that I’m out & about/
What you say? I think that we should make this count yea.

Yea. Okay, girl you fine
Only thing you needa make up is your god damn mind.
We been at it for awhile its been a long damn time.
You said “you made me wait for love like its a god damn line” uh.

Its like we on a f*cking ride/
You take me low & take me high/
Deceiving me with your deceiving eyes/
So I be acting like without you girl i’m f*cking fine/

Im fine…Im lying, Im not.
I might be out my mind/
They say that time is money/
Well sh*t I’m out of time/
Chasing these dimes, I didn’t know what was in my view/
I should’ve listened to my heart instead I’m missing you.
