Kenny Gee (no, not the sax player), the writer and director of the short film “The Body” needs your help. He came up with a clever way to raise funds for his short. Somewhere in Singapore, a bunch of thugs have kidnapped him and held hostage for ransom. He’s getting tortured until he can come up with the money $20,000. Watch the video below.

The Body is a 20-minute narrative short film set in Singapore involving two crooks, one young and one old, who have to learn to work together to dispose of a dead woman that’s turned up in one of their living rooms. It’s a story that’s deeply rooted in the crime genre, which has held a special place in my heart ever since I saw movies like Pulp Fiction and Fargo as a kid. It’s been something of a lifelong dream of mine to tell a story like that in Singapore, even if it means inventing a Singaporean criminal underworld from scratch. We don’t get many crime films here made like that – gritty, dark, and brutal, but also funny, and eccentric–the kind of film that makes you wonder why you’re smiling when terrible things are happening on screen. With your help and a little bit of luck, The Body will be one of those movies.

Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) created a parody of the film Les Miserables entitled “Les Militaribles”. It’s like a mini Korean Drama. After a great snowstorm Airman Jean Valjean (SSgt Lee) is exhausted from shoveling snow all day, but is delighted to hear that his girlfriend Cosette (1st Lt. Lee) has to come visit him against all odds. After a long ride to reach Airman Valjean, Cosette longs to spend time with him. However, his duty officer Lieutenant Javert (Ssgt Kim) must carry out orders to clear all the snow in the 22nd Fighter Wing, which leaves Airman Valjean with only 10 minutes to spend with Cosette. Airman Valjean is left with a tough decision to make between clearing snow and love. He struggles with his choice in this forbidden love story.

Known for chowing down on hotdogs, famed eating champ Takeru Kobayashi took on a different food at Super Bowl Party over the weekend. He devours a a whole 12 inch pizza in 1 minute. Although it looks like he might not be able to do it. He pulls through in the end. We still don’t know how this guy can put so much food away.

Rappers Dru B Shinin’ x Zeus x Wrex Washington collaborate on the single “Going Dumb 1.5” off their “Mount Olympus I.V” mixtape. Together they’re part of a Hip Hop Collective from Fort Worth, Texas. They rap about all sorts of things that are dumb and make you go dumb. Lot of chemicals got your brain on the run. Don’t stop til you see rays from the sun.
