The Hero Reality Show with The Rock Dwayne Johnson

The Hero Reality Show with The Rock Dwayne Johnson

TNT’s The Hero will bring 10 ordinary people together in a house and then assign them various missions that will test their brains, their brawn and even their morality. The show will challenge the competitors to prove they’ve got what it takes to be heroes, pushing them to the limits to see what they are willing (and able) to overcome, undergo or sacrifice for the sake of their fellow contestants. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will serve as The Hero’s mentor and motivator, encouraging the contestants to reach far beyond their personal limits. In the end, one player will rise above the others, overcoming obstacles he/she never thought possible in order to become a true hero.

In a unique twist on the reality-competition format, The Hero will incorporate social media into every facet of the show, from pre-production and casting to on-location shooting and live broadcasts. Through the show’s interactive digital platform, viewers will be able to vote each week for the contestant they consider to be the most heroic. “I couldn’t be more excited to enter into our first official foray in TV production,” said Dwayne Johnson. “The Hero speaks to everything I believe in when it comes to challenging ourselves, to becoming better people every day and to making the right choices while growing from the wrong ones. Bridging the digital and physical world on the small screen in a way that’s never been done before will enable fans to use social media and on-screen decision making to determine the fate of the show’s contestants, and our goal is to make each TV moment impactful and exciting.”

The series is set to premiere on TNT in summer 2013.

[Chorus:]
We are one tonight
And we breathing in the same air
So turn up the love
Turn up the love

[Verse 1: KevNish]
Turn it up now
Get it poppin’, hot tamale
Dirty bass, We so body body
Too legit, we can’t quit the party
Super freaks, no Illuminati
So one two hit the booze
We on youtube, nothing to lose
So let it loose ’cause the sheep don’t sleep

[Verse 2: J-Splif]
Like pop pop pop pop
Drop low to the L O
V E gotta get more
So clap your hands, clap clap your hands
I got nothing but love to give
Turn it up
Turned up you don’t hear me tho
Here’s some love for your stereo
So clap your hands, clap clap your hands
I got nothing but love to give

[Chorus:]
We are one tonight
And we breathing in the same air
So turn up the love
Turn up the love
We turnin’ up the love

[Chorus:]
We are one tonight
And we breathing in the same air

Go ahead now floss your love like a heart of gold
Dirty bass to make a tootsie roll
If you go low on the floor
I got a crew that will handle that cookie jar
Damn girl, I ain’t tryin’ to be rude
Spread love like a guestlist you plus two
That’s what you call a move

Born in Australia, upcoming producer/DJ, Ken Loi has dubbed San Francisco his home since the early 80s. Ken began exploring music early on through piano lessons and participating in various Competitions. He went on to graduate college with a degree in Bio, however, his true passion remained with music. More about Ken Loi
Some talents fall into place naturally, while others explode upon the industry with little but a flash of warning. A sudden flash of genius was all it took for Dutch Dance icon Tiësto to sign his alliances to the coming of age American club soldier we now know as Ken Loi. Gripping the nerve-ends of an industry now charged with universal attention and laying down his own unique melodic stylings upon its highest peaks, 2012 remains proving ground to yet another game changing asset to the stateside EDM explosion.

A producer first and foremost, Ken’s lust to customise the sets he would lay upon America before its untimely explosion cannot be ignored when considering the bigger picture of his style. But as his early 2012 breakthrough ‘Play Me’ EP for Big Beat and succeeding remixes for Adrian Lux and Gym Class Heroes proved, the San Francisco based producer was more than prepared to take the reigns of the EDM revolution
