Jaman.com adds Japanese Anime

Jaman.com, a leading global community and online destination for quality entertainment, announced a deal to distribute film and episodic content from Starz Media’s Manga Entertainment, one of the premiere distributors of anime. This deal includes some of the genre’s most popular titles and significantly bolsters Jaman’s library of high-quality entertainment from around the world.

Among the Manga Entertainment titles that are now available for download at Jaman.com are: Ghost in the Shell, considered one of the most influential and visionary animated films of all time; Robotech, the landmark anime series made popular in the United States in the 1980s, and other well-known series such as Astro Boy, Street Fighter II V, Noein, Karas and Tactics.

Premium feature-length films from Manga Entertainment will be available for $2.99, while all series episodes will be available for $1.99.

World’s smallest man meets the woman with the longest legs


He Pingping from Inner Mongolia is the world’s smallest man, while Svetlana Pankratova from Russia is the woman with the world’s longest legs. Both appeared at Trafalgar Square in London to promote the release of “Guinness World Records 2009”.

He Pingping (20) was born with primordial dwarfism and holds the Guinness World Record for the smallest man at 74.61 cms (2 feet and 5.37 inches). Svetlana Pankratova (36) holds the Guinness World Record for the longest leg of any woman at 132 cms (4 feet 4 inches) in length. Her total height is 6-foot-4.

Here’s the synopsis for Champions

Champions is about an underdog wushu athlete played by Dicky Cheung who takes part in a martial arts tournament in order represent China in a martial arts performance at an Olympic Games so as to win the heart of a national sprinter, the girl he’s in love with. Champions, which showcases various schools of martial arts ranging from Praying Mantis Boxing through Eagle Claw to Taichi, is due out in November 2008. It was directed by Tsui Siu Ming, starring Dicky Cheung, Wong Tsui Yu, Debbie Goh, Xie Miao, Yu Rong Guang, Xu Xiang Dong.
