Justin Bieber x Legaci on Letterman

With the Justin Bieber gig, Legaci had to cancel some of their shows. Here’s a quote from their video:

And although we rarely cancel gigs in all the years of Legaci history, we have mad a group decision that these kinds of things come once in a lifetime and that we needed to explore these new opportunities. As a result, we regretfully had to pull out of some of the shows in order to take advantage of these new found opportunities.
These shows were:

Our hearts and deepest apologies go out to all of the promoters, organizers and coordinators who put time into these events, as well as the fans that were planning to go. We really appreciate your efforts for trying to make it possible for us to do the shows, and your efforts do not go unnoticed.

We encourage all of our fans to please still go to these venues and support the other artists who are performing.

What If People Died – support from Karin Anna Cheung

What If People Died - support from Karin Anna Cheung

Karin Anna Cheung’s next project is “What If People Died” and she’s looking for your support. Here’s some information about the project:

A microbudget dark comedy/horror/drama feature that asks the question, “What if people spontaneously died in the middle of trivial talk and stalled life-plans?” Follows three ensembles of friends in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco who become linked by an mysterious rash of sudden “temporary” deaths of young-ish hipsters, in which vengeful ghosts, a mutant virus, and/or broken hearts may be involved. Woody Allen vs. Joyce’s “The Dead” vs. “Heathers” vs. “The Ring.”

With a skewering and loving look at today’s hipster culture, “WIPD” looks to tell a unique story, but one that speaks to every mortal person, employing a talented multiracial cast, an eclectic pop soundtrack (artists confirmed ranging from Nerdcore Hiphop to J-Pop to Off-Broadway Musical), and an intimate visual style combining HD with Flipcams. webcam and smartphone videos.

Writer/director Dominic Mah is a Sundance Screenwriting Lab Alumni and co-winner of the Tribeca All Access/L’Oreal New Visions Award 2009. He is co-founder and artistic director of the rock musical theater troupe Emerald Rain Productions.

If you want to support “What If People Died”, go here to learn more. Filming for this project started this week. We’ve got more footage of Karin Anna Cheung coming soon, so stay tuned.
