Captive (Acoustic) music video by Teesa

Captive (Acoustic) music video by Teesa

Singer Teesa made an amazing acoustic cover of her own song “Captive“. She gives you a completely different perspective of her musical range. Her acoustic cover provides a more emotional take on he single about living inside the walls of heartbreak. It’s incredible what Teesa can do with a piano and guitar versus a full blown set for a music video. No word yet if she’ll release this version of her song.

Also listen to her song Freak.

Lyrics to Captive by Teesa

You broke me into pieces when you said that we’re through
Your lies I’m still believing, was any of it true?
I go to bed wrong, hoping to wake up right
But this place reminds me.
You took your things out, even stole my light
And left me here in nothing

You take my heart captive, captive
Nothing feels the same, the same
Can’t you tell what’s happening now?
The lover takes the pain

Rewind us like a film, but only the good times
You’re perfect and I’m patient, but that’s not in real life
You were the careful and I was the generous type, I was never leaving
I burn your photograph only to get back my mind
All I believe in is

You take my heart captive, captive
Nothing feels the same, the same
Can’t you tell what’s happening now?
The lover takes the pain

You walked away. My heart remained.
Why can’t I just forget you you you you you?

Ice Cubes by Azuré

Ice Cubes by Azuré

Rapper Azuré released his latest music video for his track “Ice Cubes”. He steps away from what his music usually embodies. Listen to the vibe of the new style he’s experimenting. For the music video, he enlisted the help of Westscape Media to produce this chilly black and white video. See Azure rhyming in fronts of stacks and stacks of ice cubes. Look for more from Azure and Westscape Media coming soon. (FYI – IF you were at 2011 ISA SF, Azuré was the DJ on stage.)

You can listen to more Azuré in these videos: So Nice, As The Globe Spins, and Embedded Love.
