Kristen Kish wins Top Chef Season 10

“Top Chef” crowned its 10th winner, and the franchise’s second female winner ever, Kristen Kish, with the highest-rated episode of the season. Kristen was labeled the comeback kid for Top Chef Season 10 for her comeback from winning Last Chance Kitchen, which landed her a spot in the final two, and in last night’s finale she faced off against Brooke Williamson, the chef with the most wins throughout the series’ 10th season. The two finalists were tasked with cooking five dishes live in front of a studio audience – including host Padma Lakshmi, judges Tom Colicchio, Hugh Acheson, Emeril Lagasse and Gail Simmons, and all nine previous “Top Chef” winners for the first time ever. Also part of the audience were members of the contestants’ friends and families.

First Dish: Chicken Liver Mousse with Frisee, Mustard, Prune, Hazelnuts & Pumpernickel


Second Dish: Citrus & Lavender Cured Scallop with Bitter Orange, Meyer Lemon & Apple


Third Dish: Celery Root Puree with Bone Marrow, Mushrooms, Bitter Greens & Radishes


Fourth Dish: Red Snapper with Leeks, Little Gem Lettuce, Tarragon, Uni & Shellfish Nage
