Ken Jeong in The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard

We spotted this trailer for The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. In the trailer is Ken Jeong, he plays Teddy Dang, a used car salesman. Don’t have a lot of details on his role yet. Here’s the synopsis for The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard:

Who is Don Ready? Salesman? Lover? Song Stylist? Semi-professional dolphin trainer? Ready is all of the above – except for a dolphin trainer. When he’s asked to help save an ailing local car dealership from bankruptcy, Ready and his ragtag crew descend on the town of Temecula like a pack of coyotes on a basket full of burgers. Selling, drinking, selling and going to strip clubs is their stock and trade. And they do it well. What Don doesn’t expect is to fall in love and find his soul (cue heartfelt piano).

The movie is scheduled to release on August 14, 2009. Ken Jeong has been on a tear in movie roles over the past year including Step Brothers, Pineapple Express, Role Models, and The Hangover.

Flash Forward with John Cho

John Cho is heading back to TV in the fall in a new show “Flash Forward”. (Anyone remember John Cho in Kitchen Confidential?) In “Flash Forward”, a mysterious global event causes everyone to black out simultaneously for two minutes and seventeen seconds, and each person sees a glimpse of their lives six months from now. When they wake up, everyone is left wondering if what they saw will actually happen. Apparently, John Cho’s character sees nothing during the “flash forward”.

Here’s a description of John Cho’s character Demetri Noh:

Special Agent Demetri Noh, is Mark’s partner in the FBI. At the age of 32, he’s one of the younger agents in the Field Office. His youthful exuberance leads him to jump to conclusions before gathering all of the facts. Patience is something the more seasoned Mark is trying to teach him. The one area where Demetri is forced into methodical thinking is in planning his wedding with his fiancée, Zoey. If he’s not careful, she may find out what he’s been hiding from her.

Wow, his character’s got a love interest. Look for “Flash Forward” on ABC starting September 24, 2009.
