I’m in the House by Steve Aoki

It’s a Steve Aoki house party and you’re invited. The visionary behind Dim Mak Records who discovered and released artists from Bloc Party to the Gossip, Klaxons, MSTRKRFT, and the Bloody Beetroots, now dons his producer hat to release his own single, “I’m in the House”. Featuring rhymes by the mysterious [[[Zuper Blahq]]], Steve Aoki’s debut single is the follow up to a string of hit remixes and collaborations with such artists as Michael Jackson, the Bloody Beetroots, Armand Van Helden, Laidback Luke, Boys Noize, Nasa (w/ Kanye West, Lykke Li, and Santigold), Tiga, Junkie XL, the Killers, and Lenny Kravitz.

Are you in the house?

Kelly Hu in The Tournament

Kelly Hu is gonna be the lead in this UK film entitled “The Tournament”. She plays the role of Lai Lai Zhen. (Is it just us or does it sound like Kelly Hu has an accent in the trailer?) Here’s a synopsis of the film:

Every 7 years in an unsuspecting town, The Tournament takes place. A battle royale between 30 of the world’s deadliest assassins. The last man standing receiving the $10,000,000 cash prize and the title of Worlds No 1 (which itself carries the legendary million dollar a bullet price tag). The Tournament is set up by a group of sick high stake billionaires who watch the mayhem unfold via CCTV and bet on its outcome.

From the trailer, “The Tournament” looks intense and high on adrenaline. The movie may hit theaters in October 2009.

Recently, we’ve spotted Kelly Hu with cameo roles on TV including In Plain Sight and Numb3rs. She’s also in Dim Sum Funeral on the film festival circuit.
