Tiger Woods Nike commercial with dad’s voice

Tiger Woods Nike commercial with dad's voice

Nike is running an edgy commercial with Tiger Woods featuring the voice of Earl Woods (Tiger’s late father). The black-and-white ad seems like a public scolding of Tiger Woods by his father addressing his time away from the game of golf. His dad says:

Tiger, I am more prone to be inquisitive, to promote discussion. I wanna find out what your thinking was. I wanna find out what your feelings are. And did you learn anything?

Some will find this creepy, while others will find it powerful. From a marketing perspective, it’s brilliant. The spot is airing on ESPN and the Golf Channel right before The Masters start. We’ll see shortly whether his time off the course has affected his game.

Olivia Munn on Accidentally on Purpose

Olivia Munn on Accidentally on Purpose

Last night, Attack of the Show host Olivia Munn made a guest appearance on the CBS series Accidentally on Purpose. Here’s more about the episode:

Zack is upset when Billie hires a baby nurse Nicole (Olivia Munn) without consulting him. Meanwhile, Davis and Ryan are faced with a difficult choice when they learn surprising news about the nurse.

After ending 2009 with a bang, Olivia Munn is gearing up for an even bigger 2010. Last year, she was hosting the Bingathon, made the covers of Playboy and Maxim, appeared on talk show like Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (that was an extremely funny episode). She was even in a PSA (Be a Hiro and get Olivia Munn). This year, she’s going bigger. She’s already interviewed her twitter buddy Bill Gates, releasing a book (Suck it Wonder Woman: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek), and doing some roles in movies including Date Night and Iron Man 2. Besides Attack of the Show, she also shooting a NBC TV pilot for Perfect Couples.

With comedy is right up her alley, she’s gonna knock these projects out of the park. (Looking hot does hurt either.) Stay tuned to see what else she’s got up her sleeve. Hey Olivia, we’re still waiting for your Euro megahit “Sweet Ass in Your Face”.
